My First Grow

Hi guys, been on the site for a little while now, mostly reading, seeing how and what everyone else is getting their buds to grow. I was hoping to have better equipment, however, due to lack of funds I am simply using what I can. Hope it works!!!

I'm using a 400w hps light on 12/12 hour light cycle. (pictures to come, only been flowering bout 1 week). Another thing is, I don't really know the strain. Simply got seeds from people I knew.

One question I do have, because I'm using 400w (when I really want is 1000w) will that cause the potency to go down? Or should I say, not allow the plant to produce as much.

How many plants? If its just 1 im not shure but a 400 watt hps should be fine. goodluck!

as for potency it should be fine but yeild is not as big 400 hps is fine for up to like 4 plants at 2' to 3' i use mr cronics method and it perpetual and use four clones at atime and get about 1/4 pound per harvest more if i care for them more lol

hmmm... interesting, what exactly is the the "mr cronics" method?

right now i have 4 plants, which sounds like it will be a good fit for now. only down side is i have an uneven canopy. hopefully when i get batteries this weekend for the camera i'll also measure to see if they are too big for the 400w

well i still have yet to get batteries, with the holiday and all the snow we got in the midwest its been difficult to get out and about.

Finally was able to get some batteries, will have pictures posted in next couple of days!

It is now the end of day 17, here are several pictures i just had taken.

its been a while since i've posted up on these, but at the moment they are at day 42. i'm feeding them with a ripen formula probably for another week then fresh water from here on out. i have 2 plants that look very good, but then they others seem not so well. i'll post some newer pictures this weekend
