My first Grow

. Ya my fingers are still crossed. Im guessing i will kno for sure if its male or female in a few more days.
Well now that i have switched the lights to 12/12, i noticed the plant looks slightly strained.
Some of the very bottom leaves have turned yellow, and some of the higher leaves are starting to curl a little bit.
Im guessing this is somewhat normal. I havent noticed any significant growth in the past 2 days. Ill post some more pics when she gets a lil bigger :bigjoint:

My Plants do the same thing curling in a bit but go look a few hours later they are standing on end so i dont worry about it

I came into bit of a snag this morning. The bottom half of the plants leaves were drooping really bad. Over thepast few days i will see a few leaves droop here and there....but the whole bottom half!!!! I felt the leaves and they felt very much alive, not dry at all, and the color is the same. So ive been told by a few people its more than likely just thirsty, which makes sense cause i havent watered for 2-3 days. But now im really concerned because i had to go out of town today....wont be back till monday, and before i left i watered it really good and moved the 68watt cfl closer. Now im wishing i hadnt moved it closer. My first thought was it wasnt getting enough light towards the bottom, so thats why i moved it closer, but the prob is, i wont be back till monday and now im afraid the plant will grow too close to the cff. I think by the time i get back the cfl will prob be rubbing against it. I guess all i can do is hope for the best. Ill let u all kno how it turns out xD

hey your plant is looking big and tasty, glad to hear your lights came in from htg im waiting on them right now, i got a 400 w hps for my aero grow, im gonna subscribe cause that plant looks good man and i want to see how it turns out as for the lower branches i agree with maryjanenation, try some stress training on the plant, that should help

Fuck damn shit.................

I just made a really long post and i fucking accidently deleted it. So im srry im not going to be so specific.

I am happy to report my baby Wanda is doing good. (my gf named it wanda for some reason)

Just a few days ago iwas freaking out cause she was drooping on me pretty bad, turns out,she was just thirsty lol, what a noob i am.

I just built a new grow tent today, costing about 35$. The 1st grow tent started looking a bit warn out.

Today She has been in the flowering cycle for 11-12 days now and is looking very good i think.

I did a little LSTing and kinda broke 1 of the lower branches, but it has healed itself right up =)

Well heres a few pics of her. My how she has grown. :hump:

Heya thnx for the reply and thnx for checking out my grow =P. Ya i think ill do a bit more LSTing, i didnt expect to veg as long as i did and now the Sativa is really starting to take its form with the streching.

oh yeah looking good glad to hear the dropping wasnt a problem. its stretched alot i think your going to get a good yield out of that plant

That just made my mouth water haha. I hope so. I am only using the 150 watt hps and a 68 watt cfl thats 2700k.
Me being a rookie, i have no idea how much i should expect to yield. But from what it looks like now, i think there might be 4 main colas, and there are lots of other bud sites on the plant.
I am thinking i should expect maybe 2 oz's? But i think i have heard somewhere that some people can get 1 gram per watt that their using. So with a 150 watt, that would be a QP easy. But i think maybe it would be asking for too much to hope for a QP. Do u have any guesses as to how much she might yield?

beautiful plant you have M8E. the whole 1 gram per watt might not pertain to one plant but i dont know bro, i'd say you will get close to 3 ounces. might really have to lst the top branches to get them out of the way, to get light on the lower branches. how far along is she now, is she about ready to pop? any new pics? peace bro +rep.

that tent was working great until the plant started getting too big lol. I had to take it out so i could raise the lights.

fox farm all the way haha. I had the intention of making it easy as possible since i dont really kno what im doing lol, but i got the trio pack of FF nutes and im using FF ocean forest. I am currently using all 3 acually but next week i will just use tiger bloom and big bloom for the rest of the way.

oh i would be happy with 3 ounces :bigjoint:

but i added my 90 watt ufo and a 68 watt cfl for the bottom half so im hoping that will make a big difference. I thought about bending the top branches but there is 4 of them so i decided to tie two of them closer together to get more light.... So i basically have the 150 watt for the four main tops on top xD and the 90 watt ufo and 68 watt cfl for the bottom...dam i think im just rambling on now lol srry im a bit blaaazed

Hello every1, sorry i havent made an update in awhile, been crazy with the holidays going on.

My baby has grown so much since ive last posted :clap:

Its been in flowering mode for 3 weeks and 1 day today. The buds are starting to look beautiful. Smells so dam strong. Kinda making me worried cause i kno the smell is gonna get worse and my whole apartment wreaks right now lol. But i think she looks healthy so im happy.

its a really strong smell. The plant is in my bedroom closet, and u can smell it as soon as you wank in the apt. It started to really start stinking at about week 3 of veg. Im sure theres stuff you can do for the odor, such as carbon filters hooked up to the fan. I might end up doing that cause i plan to flower this baby for about another 7 weeks, giving it a total of 10 weeks of flowering
