My First Grow with UFO LED Light/Hydroponics

Here we are on day 22 in flowering, i Just balanced the PH and changed water and added new nutes,

The co2 seems to be working very good and its helping with the high temp problem i was having.

Congrats on your marraige. I'm getting married myself next month. Anyway your plants look great. Gives me confidence in the system. Lookin forward to the pics when you get back. Please also check in on my grow from time to time.

Roots do not like light, I would cover those ununsed net pots with something to keep the light from getting into the rez

Hey Tom... Thanks... I am using all the netpots, however the hole where the cords come up through the reservior is open. I will cover that as best I can. Can you help me with the white mold like material at the base of the stem?

are you using drippers?
If there is mold at the base of your stem than it is staying way too wet

OK...Yeah that might be it. I thought you couldnt over water with this system but youre probably right. This is the second time it happened. I flushed the first one.

Ok... Here are the 10 day pics...
I am going to heed your advice O and get at least 1 more airstone. My temps are consistently in the mid 60s so I dont know what to do about the CO2 boost. I think I may get one anyway. I wouldnt hurt either way would it. I am hoping it could at least help.
Anyway, if you dont mind check these pictures out and give me some good advice.

Incidentally today at day 10 I added
6 tsp of Fox Farm Big Bloom
2 tsp of Superthrive

All to a 12 gallon reservior.

Hey Orod i was curious if you liked the switch in nutrients so far. From the pics they look heathly all the way thru the process gj. I am using the setup but different type of Co2 and was wondering where did you keep your ppm as the plant grew with Moon Dust before you switched to Fox? I am doing less than they recommend but I still hope it's not too much. They (Northern LightsxSkunk 1)about 8-10 in on average Day 6 (rooted clones, not seeds) so far looking pretty good using all 14 pots so far, but I have no real guideline on where to keep the ppm right now it is around 750. Any help from a fellow Cool Cab user will be helpful. Thx and gl they looking good.

We have some new pics and i have to say the girls are doing great, Today i changed the water and added new nutes and balanced the PH, in doing do i snapped a branch so i have attached some pics of that bud as well.

nice OROD, looks like those babies are gonna need a lot more time though. Never a bad thing, just means it will be a little longer before you get some smoke. But i am impressed thus far!

sup dudes, I am also using simular equipment. i bought the ufo's to test them out. nearing 4th week of flowering. pics available if requested. I would like to add my thoughts. from my experience moon dust is ok, not great. a 2 part like dynagrow is better. the problem with moondust is it doesnt give adequate supplies of nutrients for flowering. A friend of mine bought a simular system and has had many problems. To start, all his plants turned blueish from lack of phos. and lost many leaves. theres no way to grow plants that closely together through the whole cycle. He has 14 net pots and yet to get half to grow to full. simply no room. an SOG grow is more suited for this. Im not trying to discourage you, I just think you should be aware of limitations. If u want all net pots to be filled and finish youll need to start flowering much sooner. As far as the LED's I havent found anything but positives. Im extremely satisfied.

Im not saying you have to chose foxfarms in particular, but it is my nutrient line of choice. I think the moon dust is fine during veg, but those babies need more "ummmph" if you know what i mean? at this point i would stick with the MD, analyze your harvest at the end of every grow (just as every good grower should) and then decide if you think making the switch to fox farms is the right choice. Personally, i never really switched my line of nutrients mid flowering cycle. I am not sure how this would affect your crop. I think you should play it safe and see this one threw till the end, and then make your choice after drying, curing, & smoking your finished buds etc. Hope that helps

any 2 part nute system will be better. from what I have seen using MD the plants start struggle a bit in flower. phos deficiency will show soon enough with blueish leaves. as far as bang for your buck, dynagrow pro foliage 9-3-6 and blossom formula 4 hydro. Jacks Classic orchid special for veg and blossom for flower in soil.
What n01 seems to be mentioning is these plants need lots of nitrogen in veg, then they need lots of phos in flower. all the more reason to use a 2 part system that addresses this change.

Thanks for the info< i'm going to hold off on this grow and finish it as Patti said, I dont want to mess with whats not broke.

I just started a new grow in soil from clones and ill try the 2 part system with this grow....
