My first grow will be a closet grow !!!!

This is what I am going to try my first time around. I am looking for comments cuz I am going to buy my material tomorrow (Tuesday).
I have about 9 square feet of closet space by 8' tall.

Looking to grow 8 plants.
1 - 400watt lamp
4 - spiral CFL 100watt lamps
8" fan for plants

This will be my first indoor grow I have now 4 plants outside....

anyone ..... ?

you need ventilation for you closet if its going to be seal up pretty good your hps will get warm and will need the heat drawn away from it. I grow in my closest as well (one 400 watter in each closet) and have an a/c unit in the room with the two grow closets to keep heat down.

the smell will be lovely but you need to get rid of it, ya don't want ya mum to find out now do ya.

how much did the 400watt bulb set you back?

before you go out this morning, also plan to get mylar from the hydro store, its the best shit ever, just get a 25x3 foot roll for like 25-30 bucks with an HPS it will REALLY make a diff over flat white paint, and get rooting hormone while your at it, its only lik 10 bucks and it saves you a trip

the socket, bulb, ballast & dome = 240.00

I rent the house I don't live with my parents so if the smell gets too much I'll buy a filter....

I will be growing babies I get from a friend so not starting from the seed !

So this is what I ended up getting...

1 - 1000watt horticulture bulb/ ballast/ 24­ inch dome cover
2 - pulleys for lamp
15' of black & white paper
10 - 10inch pots (can't fit much more in the closte lol)
1 - bag of Promix
1 - bag of shrimp compost
1 - bag of sheep manure
8 inch fan to send the warm air into the attick
10 fan for the babies
timer
........ Babies will be arriving tonight to enter there new home.........
I don't know the strain but will post pics when all is up and running!
