Right... first update for a while, I have been away, which meant I had to leave the plants unattended for 2 and a half weeks this time... considered a lot of watering options but in the end went for the wick method. This involved cutting an old pair of pants in to strips, stuffing them through the pot holes (3 strips per pot) into the roots about 4 inches and then placing the pots in crates full of water on upturned yoghurt pots with the wicks dangling in. It worked surprisingly well, when I got back the soil was very damp and the crates half full, so they used plenty of water. They also went back to the window position for the duration... I had been a bit anxious as to whether they would survive but there are no signs of stress at all... however what really surprised me is that they are still so far off harvesting, there are virtually no pistils that have turned brown, so I guess it will be another two weeks at least, which seems like quite a long turn around to me. They are now back in the grow room on the 12/12 and I'll allow them to dry out a bit before I water again...
