Day 42 veg.......the plants are doing all around good. Few yellowing leaves but nothing to worry about. The shity thing is i got preflowers on 5 out of the 6 plants and only one is female.(Bummin). I am hopeing that the last will be female (no signs yet). Im not to bummed out. This was just a learning experiance. Next batch i order is gonna be feminized. I am gonna start flowering next week sometime. There is a positive side to this tho if i had any more than 4 i think there wouldnt be enough rooom. Those plants would have been crowded. I was hopeing for 3 plants. There will be (hopeing) 2 females veged for almost 50 days under a 400 watter i think they could do well with 200 wats a peice. They have potential to have a good yeild due to size.

Ahh dude, bummer bout those males man. I bet that last one's a female. They always tend to show later than the males.

I bet your right about the last one being a female. I have heard the same thing. (keeping fingers crossed). I think the plants look overall good. Next time i think im only gonna veg for mabye 30 days.

I was thinking of ordering seeds from the attitude. From the pick and mix seeds.
Big Buddha Cheese Feminized
Barneys Farm Red Diesel Feminized

DNA Genetics Chocolope Feminized
These all sound so good. It is such a hard choice i would like to do two strains 3 plants of each stain maybe . I was leaning to more of a indica strain. We will see how this grow pans out. I would like to get a 600 watt and a couple tents. Me and a friend have over a 1000 bucks invested and we would like to atleast break even. If we break even pay the cc bills and do some chargeing again....lol

I just received a freebie in the mail. I sent a email to Safer Gro nutes and they sent me 1 Quart of supergro 1-0-4 (organic). Probly going to save it for my outdoor grow. Pretty sweet.

Hey guys, woke up with a bad stomache again today, but no dry heaves so I've been getting stuff done, just more slowly than usual.
Got the dirt, perlite, velcro, and vinyl material (to cover the door) so I think I have everything now. I have to pull the door off and rearrange a few things so the A/C will fit well & not blow directly on the plants. I'm gonna do one of those "now back to bed, now back to work, now back to bed?" things today. I doubt I'll get the clones today, but I might be able to get the room all set up so I can take pics & start my journal.

Cape Cod - I thumbed through your journal but haven't had the time to really read it yet, but I will. But if you have access to clones, I'd really suggest them over seeds unless you're gonna make some gold plants or cross pollinate. With clones you always know what your getting, just be sure to spray them down for mites when you get them just in case. I bought an organic oil spray that you'd use at the end of a light cycle that only costs around $8. I'll post the name later, but you can find it at your local nurseries.

mmmm chocolope.... I've had my eyes on that strain for awhile. Apparently it gets HUGE though

Thats the exact reson its the last one on the list. I would want to grow that chocolope under a bigger light than the 400. I guess its a real high yeilder. I am realy leaning to the cheese and the red deisel. That deisel keeps catching my eye.( The shit be calling me man!!). It is so hard to pick a strain cause you just want all of them ya know.....lol. since i did a sativa this grow i am really interested in some indica next grow.mmmm chocolope.... I've had my eyes on that strain for awhile. Apparently it gets HUGE though

did you already whack the males? you sure they were males right? I've had female preflowers that looked male until I went to 12/12 then they threw pistils. I overlooked the fact that you were still in veg. you gonna take any clones off that female?

I didnt chop the male. I am 80 positve that they are males but im gonna throw them into flower to get that 100%. I gotta go pick up a little space heater with a thermostat to keep the temp regulated. It gets pretty cold in the room that i grow in. The house is by the ocean and when the wind blows hard it sucks the heat right out of the house. My buddy is cheap with his oil and wont turn the heat up. I dont have any rooting gel or a place to put them for the 9 weeks it takes to flower. I want to get a seperate veg room eventually and maybe a mother room but im not trying to come out of pocket for it. I want the grow to pay for itself and the rest of my investments.

hi, im just asking you as a person who is yet to grow but is very serious about starting when the snow melts. i've seen your set up and really like it. what im asking is what you used to start up, grow space, lighting, soil, fertelizer., ect... From a personal experience, i've seen plants grown by very talented growers and with the acception of that very unfortunate break your plants look great. white widow is also my favorite strain so naturally im a fan. good luck with the grow

If you are growing inside why do you need to wait till the snow melts. I recomend doing alot of research b4 you get anything.
