yea bro, that extra week of flowering is ALWAYS well worth it =] haha
shoot for nine weeks, soil is always a little longer than you think. Use Hydrobloom as well and you'll be fine.
i will if i have enought time, i have to go somewhere in about 8 weeksyea bro, that extra week of flowering is ALWAYS well worth it =] haha
she was in veg for 5 days before the start of this grow journalOk, I was waiting for you to put yours in to flowering. I will put mine in tomorrow as well. I have a perpetual garden so it will fight for light for the next two weeks but it should come out just fine. It's my first time growing purps so I'm excited.
How long were you in veg again. I missed it somewhere but saw something about an extra week. I vegged for 30 days, is that not long enough? Plants are about 7" high, fim'd,
ya, those look bomb, ive talked to gnome before, lol, i think on his glass tokers threadDude you should check out some freshly harvested purps grown very well by Gnome on my thread.

ya man i did like 2 or 3 weeks ago loleverything still looks good man. have you turned that HPS on though? you never mentioned anything about it (if you did and i missed it-sorry) I'm guessing you did though from the yellow tint from the pictures.
na this is my first grow so i don't want to LST till later, something about tying the plant down seems weird, ill check out your grow thoLooking good man. Have you ever thought about tying down those 2 main shoots?
Since this is a purple thread, have any of you guys ever tried Ceres Purple? I have one going now it's about two weeks old. Don't have the room for a full indoor grow, so I'll be moving it outside in a few days. Seems like a nice little compact plant. Can't wait to see how it responds to the natural sun!
Try loogkin up super cropping. I think it mite help. From what i heard is u kinda bend the plant, but google super cropping and c whatcha get
you know your plants better than anyone, I say for your very first grow just let nature do her thing. If your interested in some training on your plant to allow some more flowers to get bigger I'd be glad to help. Just need a couple of paper clips and string. If they aren't real rigid and stiff stems they should bend. You just want to bend them slowly form the very tip of the plant towards the side of your pot, see how they feel. It will give you an idea of whether you would be comfortable doing something like this or not. By grabbing just the tip of the shoot and bending it very slowly towards the side of your pot the very worst thing that could happen is you break it somewhere near the top. Just pull it like you would a nipple, firm, yet gentle and slow.
thanks for the info guys but im just gonna keep it simple for my first grow, i'll experiment with these other methods in later grows, for now fimming worked well for meyea i was skeptical of tieing my plants over too at first. but man... IMO it deffinatly helps. makes shorter internodes and bigger buds in my experience.
