Hey everybody I am building a grow room that has a veg room, flowering room and some room for the mothers.

Its my first grow room -- But i have learned a lot of information from this site alone that i am making this post to help people out that are intrested in making there own grow room for limited cost's.

So this is the Layout of the place: Grow Room Blue Prints.jpg

Here is the outside of the building that im making the grow room: DSCN0787.jpg

I have more pictures of the inside and the build on my camera and will upload as the progress goes on.

Im limited at the moment on how much i can do to money flow but in a couple of days ths build should be complete.

So started on the inside today and behind two of the drywall sheets i found bee hives so got rid of them and painted up the inside, i added the filter tube and exhaust exit in one of the windows : DSCN0790.jpg DSCN0791.jpg

So this is after i installed the dry wall and the ceiliing plywood and the vent. system. I also duct taped all the corners and seams just to make it a little more air tight!!!

As you see in the pictures i have my holding tanks and hydro stands!

Here is a 4" duct with a exhaust vent that i put a panty hose in filled it with active carbon for a pet store in the fish department. I than put another panty hose to hold it all the active carbon and secure with duct tape.

I have been told this is very good cheap trick for air purification its pretty much 4inch by 12 inch solid tube of active carbon.

Im buying a 4 inch exhaust fan to help vent and going to mount right above the filter.

You are more than welcome to respond and reply on my stuff.

The reason im doing this is my GF has a med-card and it limits to 6 plants flowering and 6 plants veg. only 12 plants total.

So trying to do this grow room by the book.

If you have any question on how or why im doing anything please feel free to respond there is probly a reason behind it.

I plan on buying the rest of the build materials tonight and should have fans and light hopefully by the weekend!!!

We just want to sit back and enjoy the build.

Now on the other hand, if you run into a dilemma or road block we might just be able to
spot a solution to the problem. Might.

At this point we just want to grab a bag of chips, pop a Newcastle, hit the Volcano and watch.

Tired of building. Just finished our Flower Lab upgrades yesterday and dumped the fish in the reservoirs.
Aquaponics baby, Aquaponics.

Hey, have fun with this, plan ahead and work your plan. By the best equipment you can afford.
Then pinch the cheeks together and dig a little deeper,,,

nuff outta us, keep er clean and mean.

Get it the hell built. Too many breaks. That there dawg? He trained to bring the cold beer from the fridge?
Or does he rollitup for you? Good Dawg!!!!!

Looking good. Real good. Keep think ahead. Over the years I've learned to make it modular, compartmentized
and easily upgradable. New shit comes out, got a couple buck, wanna try this or that. I can strip both Labs out in less than thirty minutes.
It's all easily taken down, the wall a/c and the squirrel fan are the only two pieces of permanently mounted gear.

Like tonight. Two new raptors to hang over the scrog stations. These things are fricking huge! mvf ordered em and they came.
I'll strip out the hoods over the scrog without bothering the Plants, hang the new, attach the new heavier chain tho the ceiling,
hook up the duct and be done. No major tools needed.

Yer looking sharp HP, looking sharp.

Yer welcome,

We like this kind of build. Using the space you have available. Cool. Lot's of time to learn and observe how your room works.

We know you'll spend a hell of lot more time in there then you think, but thats a good thing.

Ventilation, man that's the thing you always have to nail down for a good grow through. All the
other items and gizmos and whizmos won't work like they should if that Ventilation ain't pegged.
A/C? Keep in mind thermal dynamics. Cool air sinking, heat rising, ThePlant prefers a cool breeze over a hot draft anyday.

Keep it up, you'll get there. No hurries, less worries later.

Ya i feel ya there, so i have a few questions to ask:: I was thinking in the 2 windows i boarded up puting these in each one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835705056

they are 105 cfm one for the veg and one for the flowering room of fresh air constant on.

With a 4" inline exhaust fan for the 2 vents in the attic -- i think its rated at 120cfm or so.

and about 4 standard stand fans inside 2 for each room. That was my plan and i hop you can give me some tips.

Im good at wiring so those 250mm pc case fans will be no problem

Also im going cheap all the vent and air set up is costing me a total of 180.00

but than on the other hand i have one of those window A/C that is pretty old still works great but i think it will be a waste and to expensive to run.
