My first grow i have questions

Hi people. I have never tried to grow marijuana befor i am just growing one plant right now it just sprouted yeterday. i have a few questions i would like to ask everyone.

Will like a regular light work for growing it?
is the srout suposed to be kinda curly?
is it bad that i like to look and touch the soil and plant sometimes?

first you should check out the other forums or threads here about General Growing, it has all the basic information to grow a plant. light, soil, temp, etc.. that's where i'd start.

no a regular light will not work have to have cfls. the soil is fine to touch but dnt keep touching the plant might do something wrong and snap its broke u knw. lol go check out my set up somethings need to be changed like the foil needs to go to either white paint of mylar. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/130442-blazedklownzgrow.html

Taker it slow and READ READ READ...daily. Then youl realize hey I know the answer before you even ask it...this site will teach you all that relevant info and learn ya right...

Read first ask questions when you cant find literature to read...thats my motto.

I suggest reading the growfaqs and reading thru Newb central like 5 times then youll know this little plant you got most likely will be your first failure and learning experiance...then youll know where to go from there.

ok well idk i heard u could grow with regular lights untill u need to flower the plant other then that this is the first plant i ever got to sprout

welcome dude, looks like you got the bug the rest of us have. planted your first seed but seems your jumping the gun a little.i say that because of the question you asked. i would encourage you to read some before you get started. cannabox is pointing you in the right direction. go get the light the other guys was talking about but dont spend a lot of money right now. research some, when you think you read enough to go further read some more. here are a few links to get you started. the first one took me weeks to get through and i still go back there when in a pinch and trying to figure out where i went wrong. i rather see you do the reasearch and see 100 post of question from you then see you start with little knowledge and get frustrated and never here from you again.

also check out peoples grow journals and copy success. thats what i do. my first grow is below.

after you read a little, or while you researching if you have any question feel free to post. but when the question plainly show that you have not researched the more experienced folks wont respond.
