3 gallon fabric pot 15% cocoa 10% perlite 70% organic soil 5% worm casting at the bottom of the potlookin nice n healthy. what you growing in?
sweet, i love as close to organic as possible. keep up the great job your doing
[/thank you
Another. Why are you mixing coco and soil? This doesn't work well. Coco likes to be watered multiple times and needs nutes every feed since it has none. Soil likes to be watered when it's dry 3-5 days and has food in it. Please DO keep up posted so other new growers will finally start to pay attention and learn.3 gallon fabric pot 15% cocoa 10% perlite 70% organic soil 5% worm casting at the bottom of the pot
You live and you learn but what I will say is so far so good she seems to be happyAnother. Why are you mixing coco and soil? This doesn't work well. Just because you don't transplant and it is a good plant doesn't mean transplanting doesn't work/isn't good. You just don't know cause you don't do it. You shouldn't put info out on things you don't know. I get it, you have been on the site for 3 days now.You live and you learn but what I will say is so far so good she seems to be happy
I did this for a few years without issue. Coco really helps aeration in combination with peat/perl. You just treat it like a normal soil peat grow.Another. Why are you mixing coco and soil? I'm sure some folks can get it to work, (experienced growers) but more do not have good results this way. I'll be intrested in seeing how long the OP posts with this plant.I did this for a few years without issue. Coco really helps aeration in combination with peat/perl. This last year I've been breaking all the typical "coco rules" using Giagreen dry amendments in strait coco/perl watering once every 2 days with no run off. I use strait tap water PH'd to 6.2-6.5 throughout the grow. Once a week I'll hit em up with Molasses to help feed the microbes. I started growing this way just as a fun one plant test too see if "mr.canuk" was full of shit with his youtube grows. Every bit of info online contradicts growing in coco this way, but it works and is the easiest growing I've ever done. All the benefits of soil/peat with the awesome aeration of COCO.
I find the yields to be slightly less than pumping synthetic nutes through coco but a better end quality product with the dry organics.
It's actually not a bad thing, it works fine with proper attention and in some cases does work better. Provided you have the experience. This gentleman is asking for knowledge , constructive criticism even. Dont come and bully someone around thats asking questions. I grow for a cannabis dispensary and am a traveling grower for people in my community.Another. Why are you mixing coco and soil? This doesn't work well. There are definitely better ways of.constructive criticism than how your doing it, you may even just teach him something (and he'd be more willing to listen) if you weren't so condescending . I get asked questions and see things ALL THE TIME I can't wrap my head around, just guide and help them understand. Thats all . You seem smart. Now just try to be easier on your delivery.
