My first grow box/grow, critics come one come all!

This is my first grow, and i dont expect to yield much, or anything at all to be honest. Its small, low budget infact i have not spent one dollar. Is there anything i can do to upgrade or make my grow box better? I have a 100$ budget. Im using regular soil from my backyard. For the lights, im using two 27watt cfl lights, and a 12 watt black light. ( also if anyone has any pointers on how to get the black stuff off the bulb so it can just be regular, that would be perfect. ) please comment and suggest about my piece of shit box! hahha.. thanks.

First off you will need alot to improve. Why not get a cheap cab and add some more cfls.It would be better then being in the open like it is now.You will never be able to flower like that. You need complete darkness to flower.

welll, just for vegetative im keeping it like this, i cant afford a cab - and its supposed to be stealth. this is behind my bed kind of, so its not really noticeable. thats why i said im open to ideas! haha :P

So you plan on keeping lights on 24 hrs?You can get a mini closet/pvc clothing closet for like 20 bucks to grow in.Ill pick one up soon and show you.I plan on cloning and keeping a mother in it.

What that guy said about flowering is halfway true. One way around it would be to grow an autoflowering strain. I know some of the more experienced growers say that theyre shit in quality, but with your ghetto setup and low budget it might be your best bet. I got some free in a purchase i made. They werent too bad. Your 100 bucks should def go to a light. If you go hps or mh you're going to have to spend $$ on better ventilation. I think they make a 250 or 150 watt cfl for under 100$. That would be your best bet i guess. Some reflective surface to put around the plant to keep light direct to the plant would help too. Good luck!

Yeah 4hydroponics sells a 125 watt cfl for 69 dollars.Same price as a 150 hps>Go with what you want but yeah look into autos if you plan on keeping it stealth, small and quick results.

thanks for the heads up guys.. im doing a " science experiment " so i have no problem with the lights or buying them. i have a few rubbermade containres arounhd, ill stack two ontop of eachother and get some more pics up. hopefully i can make do with what i have now! also. computer fans/small fans are not a problem. I run my own home business fixing and repairing computers and i have quite a few spares.. ill rig something up. until next time - thanks again guys/gals.
