My First Closet Grow So Fun

This is a strain called querkle supposed to be really good, i started flowering about 3 days ago after 5 days of veg. Got a clone from the despensary i know i need to do a lot more but i dont really have the money and im having a lot of fun and excitement every day when i look at them, i have wanted to grow for soooo long, so i would enjoy any type of helpful comments about what i can do to improve without much money thanks

personally i woulda vegged for more than 5 days but i like to yield a decent amount per plant

have you ever grown querkle?

i havnt personally but i pick it up at the clinic whenever its there. i have 20 beans for it but i havnt grown since my daughter was born. i wasnt legal when she was first born so i gave my equip to a friend up north. now that i am legal i havnt had the time to restart hehe. only helping friends with their grows has been both rewarding and saddening for the past year

does anyone know a cheap way to mask the smell querkle is a lot bigger now and getting really stinky im on probation and sometimes the come over and i dont want the smell to get me busted please let me know anything useful i'll update photos when i get a new camera dont want to use my cell camera thanks guys

do a search on a ONA bucket and that will solve your problems.

i checked it out and it looks like its going to be too big for my closet but thanks for the tip. im thinking im just going to put a homemade charcoal air filter in the exhaust i built a grow box out of a dresser i had. also any good ideas when it comes to preventing light leaks? thanks

ok sorry it's been a while. But as everyone can see i'm getting some BUDS!!!! It is the first time i have seen a mj plant with buds, and it's mine all mine hahaha. I painted my cabinet and put in 8 23w 2700k cfl's and an intake and exhaust. anyway the strain is querkle let me know what u guys think. Im getting more clones from the co-op I'm going to try a non-purple strain, maybe blue dream or northern lights, anyone grown those with cfl's? how did they respond? Later guys

Those top CFLs can be dropped closer to the tops. Mine sit as close as they can w/o touching the plants.

A good rule for light height is to place your hand between the light and the plant, palm down so the sensitive skin faces the light. If your hand is ok, so will be your plant.

Not putting down what you are trying to do but is a free 1/4 - 1/2 oz worth the risk of violating probation????

maybe just to elaborate more. of course his hand will be o.k... stoner! =-) lol if it is uncomfortable for your hand to be underneath it for any length of time, then so it shall be for your plants my man. and BTW i am using ONA not the bucket, just a little 8 oz. plastic container, and open it about halfway and leave it like that most of the day...does the trick, but i would get a carbon scrubber anyday if i could afford it. that 8 oz. thing of ONA was only 8 bucks and some change.

Thanks for the comments guys. How's the plants growth look for 22 days? it's starting to get really frosty, what do you think? i was going to move the lights down but the plant is still growing plus i added some side lighting. has anyone grown querkle b4? thanks guys

Also i am going to get some ona gel today since you guys think it's good. I got a new cutting today also and it was only $5 because the guy said it needed tlc so i plan on adding some pics when it looks better in a week or so thanks for looking around any advice about simple fixes would be helpful thanks

Helpppp mee!!! This was my frist time EVER growing so i dont know a whole lot AT ALL, just one plant, but was growing really good. id say it was in the vegetive state, had about six main branches. wellll today someone found it and broke it in half. one part just a stem of branches and leaves the other part one branch and roots...(no soil) is there any chance in the world i could replant it. i was so happy about it

you can must likely make a splint and tape it to the broken branch then wrap tape around the whole splint and branch and everything should fuse back together and repair itself. but anyway this is a thread about my plant im sure you can post somewhere else thanks
