Good call on the LST. With all those bulbs you can cover a good amount of space. Yea the top will stop it for like 7 - 10 days. I'm not a proponent of topping when you can just lst. With a little over simplifying, cutting of the most mature potential bud site is just plain crazy. Only topped once with a little lst and it worked well. 8 equal tops on it but I found myself missing the 14g+ money shot cola. I'm subbed along.

Just saying, i think this is what happens when your stems dont stretch.. You know, perhaps it isn't so bad if they do. They would spread more and get more light :)

Lol ya I raised the light to get some stretching most of the time you don't want stretching but this case I want her to stretch a bit until I get my hps

Well the way roots grow is straight down until they cant then loop around the bottom and back up the sides of the pot. Most root growth happens in veg and once in flower I find they barely grow in my experience. What you got going on the bottom there is kind of like an air prune. The roots that grow through those holes will die but then promote root branching higher up on that root. So it could be sort of a good thing. I never see any stress when transplanting. Usually the opposite with crazy growth when I give it more leg room. I'd say transplant her if you want. Cutting of the bottom of the first pot and doubling up into some soil would work too. I think shes growing taller. I like my plants squatty in veg. Its going to stretch in flower no matter what so squatty plant just means the side buds will be closer to the top of the plant when you flip, making them easier to light. That is a pretty fat stock. Thick stocks are a good sign. Bigger the nutrient highway and stronger the branches, the bigger the buds it can handle. New growth looks a little better too.

alright so this is day 33 since it sprouted. i let her dry out a bit people were saying she was over watered.these are pics of my light setup. im buyings 2 3ft single t5ho 34w lights and im going to be going all the way around my box and then where the cfl lights are im going to change this to a 250w Hps. i cut a few leaves off the bottom. just the beginning leaves cause they werent getting any light and were touch the soil (which i heard was not good). My last watering i hit them with .25 nutes that was on saturday night. well let me know what you guys think. 20120323_205429.jpg20120323_205434.jpg20120323_205444.jpg20120326_175007.jpg20120326_175013.jpg20120326_175020.jpg

Much improved. Some of the old leaves still look a little plump but the new growth looks better. Grew a lot in the last 4 days.

ya i was quite surprized from when i watered it to now how much it grew almost like i starved it a bit but then when i feed it, it really took off. using the proper measurments for nutes def played a big part. will only make that huge mistake once never again, shes loving the nutes though right now . i have to spin the plant every day seeing how the t5s are only on one side but this is a temp thing will have prolly 4-6 more t5's in the next week.

i was watering every 3-5 days and it seemed to be 2 much at that point so i waited about 8 days before i watered again. i screwed up on nutes around that 24 day period and put in 25ml instead of .25ml was surprized i didnt kill her going that overboard. but she didnt even show signs of any nute burn she seemed shocked though didnt grow for like 10 days but now is starting to explode again
