My First CFL grow attempt

and I ended up buying vegging and flowering nutes. both fox farm, growbig and tiger bloom. Have been working well so far.

girls are growing great. threw some more 5000k 23 watt cfl's in there to get into the canopy, my goodies I ordered should be here tomorrow or monday so I am stoked to setup my HPS system.

i think I have come to the conclusion they are both females, I can see little pods with 2 () hair things coming out of them

once I get my hps setup I am going to start either 2 or 4 more seedlings for my next batch of plants. I am thinking either stick with 2 big ones or do 4 small plants not sure what is best for 600 watts yet.

also broke my first CFL last night lol. Is that bad luck? No worries though thank god they are only a few bucks each, now if it was my newly ordered HPS bulb.. oh boy

Starting to get some goodies in the mail! Lumatek ballast came today, got my 100ft roll of mylar the other day, just waiting on reflector, bulb, thermometer, and a timer/surge protector and i'm good to go!

yea they lookin quite nice man. With the mylar try not to get many wrinkles as it causes hot spots and less reflective inside. And instesd of plantin new seeds why not clone? if u havnt done it b4 jus do some research now be the time to get a few...def a BIG time saver...keep it up more lights wouldnt help either maybe a few homeade reflectors on the side made outta cheap foil pans they help alot jus cut whole in and put ya a socket thru and add ya a few more CFL's...ull need more when ur ready 4 flower...

Thanks man, I will post some pics soon probably tomorrow, but I got the mylar hung up and there are some wrinkles but for the most part it's good. I got my other goodies today, thermometer/humidy, supersun bulb 600watt, timer/surge protector, and went and bought 4 new 5 gallon buckets from lowes for my next batch, just need soil and i'll be set. I am waiting on 4 seeds to sprout then i'll drop them into some small pots until I transplant and start the cycle over.

but in the meantime, I am going to start flowering and see what happens leaving my lights off tonight and tomo morning at 6am my 600watter will turn on until 6pm

will get some pictures up! Anyone have any advice now that I am going into the 12/12 cycle? Anything I should be careful of or watch out for etc?
