my first cfl grow any help very much appreciated.

if you can just get a gallon of distilled water, then fill it up at those machines in front of grocery stores n stuff. its only like 30 cents a gallon tops and never have to worry about ph. you shouldnt worry about it too much anyways. they have light now so just make sure they get water when they are dry and look like they want water. dont make it too complicated. weed is a weed for real, it just grows. once they have real leaves like some of yours do they take off quick.

marijuana is very ph safe, keep the ph stable and they will be ok, whether its high or low, keep it the same and they will be happy. dont buy into all the "facts" do a lot of research n follow og growers like al b fuct, or uncle ben, gypsybush, or a lot of people on here. if you get advice check there stuff out to see if it is worth listening to. if they dont have any proof of it and yet your standing in front a real plant with something going on then why listen to those people? you are your own best teacher when it comes the chronic. you wont catch me tellin you a good number for ph, I dunno what mine is at all, but my buds are sticky icky chronic cause it never changes

ok a fucking catastrophe happened night before last and there was one casualty and several others wounded. somehow in the middle of the night the new hood fell and sat on top of the girls. it burned one to a crisp and i mean crisp! it laid on top of two others and gave them some bad burns as well. the temp was at 100 degrees but i took care of that issue yesterday with some intake and some exhaust fans. the temp is now 77 degrees and rh is 54. i forgot to take a pic of the cab tonight because i got high i wont lie but i will post a picture of how i did it tommorow. i took two 4" pc fans and mounted them low on the left wall for intake fans in the top i cut a hole and mounted a ten inch box style fan from the dollar store. i have two towels strecthed across the cabinet to cover it and allow access when the fans are on and running the cabinet sucks the towels up tight and seals everybit of light inside so im guessing i have a good negative pressure inside the cabinet. the fans run while the lights are on and are of during lights out. also on the top of the box where i cut the exhaust fan in i took a rubbermaid tub and cut a hole in the bottom to set over the fan so i could make a carbon filter later on down the road.

as you can see my original number one who has been through a lot already got a pretty bad case of light burn i trimmed here up and here she is i hope she makes it

this one also had some light burn as well

it didnt seem to effect these

they will be alright

yea man they still small,,theyll shake bak pretty fast! Mine sprouted with no head and just a lil stalk and sum "OG" growers were saying to take it out...itll soon be producing bud,,not that much cause its small but still,,,Do research on advice given to you.

thanks everyone for helpin out i got some distilled water today and flushed the pots really good the plants have bounced back pretty good and my beloved number one that i have just put through pure hell has some really freaky shit going on i guess when i topped her i actually did fim because four new main branches are growing from the tip and she has lots of lil side branches beginning to form as well when she gets her grove back its gonna be an on going battle to keep her lsted the right way. im hoping that this distilled water does the trick and this slow ass shipper from ebay hurries up and gets me my shit.
ok so here are the pictures the seedlings really havent done much but the bigger ladies look gook with the exception of a few of the lower leaves yellowing a lil. im going tommorow to get some buckets of rabbit shit and some cow shit as well and start my own lil nice compost pile so i can feed with organic tea so i dont worry bout burning them too much and may also start a new batch of seedlings and let these four tall girls grow wild outside.

very nice set up i only like a few cfl set up and ur happily one of them now.but not the best ll

thank you very much i have done lots of research on this site and others as well and all i see is people bashing cfls i believe that if you put enough of them in there to compete with a hps or mh you can actually grow denser buds because you are able to get the light so much closer. i dont know if i can but i will sure give it my best shot.

thanks purp glad to see your still with me man i thank you and everyone else for all your help. i am talking with another buddie of mine that wants to do a small cfl set up as well. maybe i can start another thread if he ever gets around to it.

i aint goin nowhere this time...i got discouraged and all fucced up when my last grow got stole and i said fucc this shit,,(thats cause i didnt have a place to grow)LOL

man i had that shit happen to a plant i had outside about 4 years ago and i said fuck it myself i know the feeling all to well mine got stole the day before i was gonna harvest i went and looked at it on wednesday evening and went back friday morning and the bitch was gone!! i was so pissed i know it had 7 or 8 ounces on it no doubt i wanted to kill everyone i knew that smoked cuz i knew someone i knew got that shit lol. keep your head up bro and dont trust nobody. and when you do get your shit harvested if one of your boys wants a bag charge them 200 an 1/8th lmmfao

lookin good spec that cfl hood setup what is that sheetmetal ? may wanna repot em soon as that soil looks abit too dense for good drainage\root growth i wouldnt stop using it but would add some extra pearlite to the mix

man i was on the same page bro lol i just got back from the home depot and bought a bag of organic soil some perlite and vermiculite now i just have to figure out at what ratio to mix all this shit together. i also got my ph tester in the mail today and picked up some rooting hormone as well as some of those lil square seed starter pots as for the hood it is 5 inch air conditioning duct.

i dunno bout a soil mix but i mix up my own soil (you can peep it in the pots in my sig) but i used roughtly 2-3 parts peat moss and 1 part pearl 1 part verm but depending on how you like to water you may want to add more/less

ok i now know why everyone says miracle grow poting soil is shit!!! i repoted the bitches yesterday and when i pulled them out of the pots they looked as if they were in straight mud!! fucking mg sucks great big green pink polka dotted donkey dicks. any way i will take some pictures of the girls this evening in there new habitat. when i repotted i got as much of the shitty soil off as i could without haerming the root system then took them to the sink and rinsed damm near all the dirt out of the roots as well. i know i probably shocked them a lil bit but i got the roots good and clean so hopefully once they get over there intial shock they will take off again.

ok so here is the new soil content sorry i had to use miracle grow again but thats all these fucking home improvement stores here carry. i think i mixed it up very well take a look and tell me what you think
