Pretty nice plants for a budget Miracle grow.

I mean honestly quite nice looking plants. I have always been a budget grower. I felt like MG was holding me back. I was impressed with how cheap a switch to organic was and so far I like the difference. (2 weeks in)

Will you still grow them out in spite of pollination? Could make some good stuff still. Its crazy How I have yet to find a male flower anywhere near my grow. But I always end up with a couple dozen seeds. I have been wondering if pollen is just naturally in the air to a certain degree. Especially in the grower states.

Yes I know right? I have heard so many people hating on Miracle Grow and yet, they seem to be doing pretty fucking good to me! I am NOT using Miracle grow soil though. THAT might be a problem as it contains fertilizers that last 4-6 months and I can understand people not having a fucking clue on how to grow messing up their plants due to nute burns.

And yes, despite them getting pollinated somehow, I will STILL grow them till they are ready. In the end I will have seed's for my next grow and am thinking about just making hash out of all of it :P I think they got pollinated by the bee's and maybe someone forgot to pull their males :( Doing some searching (http://www.beesource.com/point-of-view/joe-traynor/how-far-do-bees-fly-one-mile-two-seven-and-why) and it seem's bee's will go AS FAR AS THEY HAVE TO for pollen. I also have a state park nearby within a few miles and a few years back they found a bunch of plants growing there hehe. Could be growing there again or someone locally. I also have a shit ton of bee's come into my garden's and onto my plant's I have out for the butterfly's. When I say a shit ton I mean fucking bee's EVERYWHERE. Also have had some bee's nest's in my fire wood for the winter and a nest in the ground. At first I was a bit sad then I decided fuck it. I don't have to go through the hassle of wasting my ladies even though they got pollinated.

Also, the seed's are very small right now. So tiny I wasn't even sure they were seed's at first but I then pulled off some more brown haired calyx's and noticed the same thing. A small white and light green hard substance

Oh also, Miracle Grow soil as do most commercial soil from the Home Depot/Lowe's do not contain dolomite lime, which keeps the PH up instead of lowering after time due to watering. So that could cause problems. But my tap water has a PH of <8 haha. So I think if I use the tap water, which contains no trace of chlorine as I have tested it many times, I should be able to prevent any problems I could possibly run into. I hope haha. I think also for the next grow I am going to get some Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and add a touch of dolomite lime and just see how that is. Also, am going to grow indoor's in a tent. Just need to wait for some money then go shopping!

This is spicy. My purple stemmed sativa. I drew a black line where she was accidentally supper cropped the first or second week of flowering. She has fully recovered and is displaying a shit ton of branches after where it was supper cropped. She is starting to hair up at the bud sites so I suspect she is on week 3-4 of flower now :)
I have her tied down a bit because she is so damn tall!!! and still has more to grow. Also placed them indoors for today and yesterday as I am experiencing cloudy weather :/

Went to radio shack and get me a 60x-100x microscope! Seem's they are dropping them price wise as they aren't selling..So, after about a half hour of fiddling around with it (I cut off a bud from a lower bud site to see where I am at trichome wise) I FINALLY got some clear pics. Pain in the ass and tricky to do. Also, I suggest getting a 40X jewelers loupe as you can see more surface area. Going to get one soon. Anyways, here are the 2 pics I was able to take after a half hour of messing around.

IMG_20130820_151659.jpg They are mostly clear but I am seeing some cloudy ones. Also saw a few amber. But, hard to take a picture :/ Late I will tinker with my webcam and see if that works. The best thing about this microscope is that I can take off the bottom clear plastic piece to clean it whenever :P

100_0053.jpgThe bud hanging to dry. Just smoked it. MAN this is good! tasted like straight chlorophyll though but potent for a small bud :)

FUCKING SPIDER MITES!! haha

I took my 60X radio shack scope and peeked under a fan leafs and MAN could I see some egg's...

So today I sprayed them down with soapy water, waited 10 minutes, then hosed them down with cold water from the tap...

These things are INSANELY hard to get rid of... I thought I knocked down the population a but but boy was I wrong... Doesn't help that I have them outdoor's either and I don't have a tent to bring them indoors and finish. Guess I just have to make do with what I got.

Just harvested some lower buds.. Mostly cloudy for the cola and some clear... Also noticing they are filling out... Waiting for the hairs to start turning brown then going to start my countdown for full harvest

LOL anyways, drunk me last night forgot to water the ladies and we had a hot day so far. I went to check up on them and they were drooping like crazy. So I fert'd them 1 1/2 teaspoon Miracle Gro tomato food. Also noticed the trichome production went into overdrive.. The buds were sparking in the sun. Was pretty cool. Made me drool a bit too. Can't wait to harvest and start my next grow!

My does time fly...

Well, harvested the sativa/indica hybrid. Didn't have a scale on hand so can't tell you the weight but dried it was a little over 1 1/2 OZ :) Didn't cure it as I sold it to family shortly after it was done drying. Not much of a smell with her. Not much of a shine either. I'd say the strain is along the lines of a chronic strain. Commercial shit weed.

IMG_20130902_201847.jpg<--pic of main cola.

In the middle of harvesting the pure indica right now. Smells AMAZING!! Like sandalwood or the ocean a bit. Drying it slowly now to preserve the aroma as much as possible. Day 3 of drying in my closet. Will harvest the rest once it look's ready. Thinking mid October for some heavy smoke for night time.
media_KziBsL.jpgmedia_20TJ1d.jpgmedia_6l04Ez.jpg<-- pic of main cola

Also, ran into some caterpillars... Will keep that in mind for next year outdoors. Will also grow 3-4 plants in the same area. Still looking for some ideas on the strain. Will probably be a pure indica strain.

If I have any advise for newbies stick to 1 plant per container. I could have easily tippled my final yield if I did so but didn't have one nearby and was also in the process of moving, so money was TIGHT.

My purple stem'd lady is budding up now. Has loooong bud branches so I am hoping I can push her to 3.5 grams DRIED per long branch, 2 OZ total. Not impossible.
