My first Bubba Grow

Hey there, Im growing bubba kush for my first time and it seems to be maturing much faster the the typical 8 week flowering period. I'm on day 36 since I changed the light cycle and already nearly half of the hairs have turned orange and a few of the nugs are crispy on top. I just don't want to miss the flushing period with this being my first grow and all. I have a jewelry loupe coming in the mail today to examine the tricomes but any input would be greatly appreciated. Also I used low stress training on the plant on the left and I used a combination of high and low for the plant on the right.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

You're on the right track by getting a magnifier or loupe to let you know when to harvest, everything else is secondary.

Alright ill raise the lights a bit then, I just thought it was weird because the flowers that started to turn color and get crispy first were the one farthest from the light, not the ones right on top close to it. And are you trying to say not to flush my plants? And thanks tazz and indy, it should be here today so i can stop worrying haha

you can decrease the nutrients towards the end and even use plain water the last week, but flushing in the way weed forums often recommend, is not needed.

Okay not trying to question your knowledge or anything but would you mind explaining why i don't need to? From what I've read, the flowers are the last part of the plant to leech the nutrients out, so if you don't remove almost all the nutrients the flowers will end up with nutrient chemicals in them and will burn harshly. I've also experienced this first hand as my dispensary had to cut their entire crop due to mildew and bought wholesale from growers who didn't care about flushing their plants. I could hardly take one rip of that bud without going into a coughing fit. It was honestly worst then taking a resin hit and I returned the rest of the ounce so I don't want mine to end up like that.

bad taste doesn't come from not flushing, that isn't how plants work

What you're describing is bud that wasn't dried and cured correctly.
