To start.. Anyone feel free to post here!!
Been quite some time since this project started for me. The initial attempt did not go so swimmingly. All 5 plants that I tried starting at my friends home turned into a salad for the insects the first day that they came up. Since the season is backwards down here it became too late to start again. Well on my return trip to the states I had Attitude seeds send about 40-50 seeds to my parents house awaiting for my arrival. hehe.. how they would have loved a visit from the police... ROFLMAO!! Oh was it also fun getting off the plane and having my luggage be the only one pulled for inspection by customs in Rio. I was carrying so much crap for my home in there and they were so confused by it all that they just let me through..whew!
So since it was early for my real plants (Greenhouse Sativa fem 10 pack, Kiwi seeds Mt. Cook) I also bought 10 lowriders that have non-hybridized genetics to allow me to make seeds. Well back to my friends house in the jungle... Now I also bought those little tomato starter discs and made a nice mix of soil with vermiculite, lime, nutrients, hummus etc… the scientist side of me loves this part. Since there is a language barrier for me and my buddy I gave it all to him ready to go... and started the seeds in the discs. Here in Brasil he never saw the discs so he was horrified to start them without me. Well slow start but all good so far.
3 weeks later I stopped by his place and saw the babies all growing and almost killed him. He lives in the freakin jungle but was paranoid anyway, so he had them growing inside his window and they were stretching like hell. A good slap across the face transcends language barriers, I guess, and I had to explain to the person that has more plants than you can imagine, the importance of direct sunlight. OK so I propped these babies up and hoped for the best… since this post has been devoid of pics I’ll save the week later results for a few days
So as I loved hearing as a child… tune in later.. same bat time.. same bat channel!!!!!!!!!
Oh and I have been real careful posting here so my wife doesn't see. She might figure out why I am really looking at farmland every weekend.
shortly I begin the monsters, waiting for the days to begin lengthening (June 23rd here)
