My First Attempt at a Hidden Grow (Tips Please) Pics Included

2 weeks still no internet decided to take a trip to my rents house and steal there internet from the car whilst i download some news tunes life without internet is mega boring !

anyways i flipped them 2 days ago no change yet watching them like a hawk only lesbians allowed in my grow :P

Ill make some effort to upload some pics this week as they changed so much in the time ive been away i no longer recognise the plants in my previous photos :D
 
Got my net back so i can update now its a fair bit of hastle tho so i probably wont bother unless people are still interested. let me know
 
budget grow dude :) this is more for experience and getting some females , ill be buying a wardrobe and using hps for my next grow hopefully. Incoming update for those subbed :) just uploading atm.
 
Well here it is as promised an update !

as you may or may not know i had no internet for 2 weeks or so, not a bad thing tho cuz clear progress in them now :)

Opening the grow im sure ull notice a few immediate problems !

Im lacking in space now so i have switched them over to 12/12. Ive been training them to try get more light to the plants and thought about trimming but after a read up i changed my mind on that !

Ive since untrained the plants , tbh i got fed up with it and there a decent size now so theres some wierd streched bits and funny stalks but there doing good.

I moved the plant from the cab for some single shots , so thats why some have curled leafs in the pics.

Ive got a small conservitory on my lounge which is where i put them it sits at 90C with lower than 20 humid. they really dont like it which is annoying i was looking at it as further grow space , ill see what difference a fan makes in there. the eagle eye'd my notice some im missing some pots. Well ive still got them they just werent ready to flower yet and i was out of space i had seedlings stacked on the main pots 0_o.

Theyve been living outside for a week now i made the mistake of putting a reflector around them on the first day and toasted a few leaves >.< but chucked that and theyve since been fine. i have tbh kinda forgotton about them they sit in the conservitory at night just cuz it get to cold outside i normally put them out when i get up but that can be any time !

Topped this one and it was going real nice until i took it outside and the tops streched lol not to bad but still :P

Ive also seemed to have gained a mutant ! Wierd wierd wierd but this plant grows in 3's , when it sprouted it broke through with 3 leafs and has kept the trend going through its life its a trianle plant for sure !

Well thats my update for now guys ive missed some details and bits out but im sure your posts will bring them up :) sorry about pic quality i thought id use my camera for a change , apprently my phone makes for a better camera :S
 
ok, first DITCH the foil, what are u doing that for? I imagine u think the reflectivity from the lights will help it hit the leaves upwards? anyway foil is never good for this PLUS, u r stopping the important air exchange at the soil level, not good, not good at all. ur plants look good overall but what about the upturn of leaves. either the plants are still not close enough to ur lights OR they are a little deficient in magnesium. one of the last pics the leaves seem a little light (maybe just the picture itself) if they r however u might need a little more N. Can recall what kind of lights ur using looks like flourescents & ? (not sure what the side light is), nor what ferts u have them on currently.
 
Im not currently feeding them any nutes as have done a repot recently and the soil has feed in it , i was using a npk 5-5-5 will flush them next week and get back to adding nutes. Im using a fluro reptile tube its got quite a blue spectrum , the other light is a cfl. I plan to grab another lamp and cfl from my trip to tesco tonight so i can put one on the other side. I originally saw a mental hydro grow that was foil tastics and it was an epic grow too. So followed suit , my light dont get hot so decided the foil was safe. Ive left plenty a gap in the foil so its not sealed at all. but i do get were ur coming from im going to remove it from the outdoor pots i dont like the attention the foil draws. Which picture were u looking at btw ? The curled leafs were because i moved them out the cab to the other room. Theres a few confused branches on the plants cuz of lst and lack of cab space.
 
I had to neuter a plant this morning as it grew some balls bastard thing lucky i got it straight away , really didnt want to kill the plant tho it was one of my bigger ones, i was worried it was new growth that just hadnt opened yet , but close inspection and taking the shit out my eyes realised it was sacks. So 1 down 8 survivors , this weeks going to be a heart in mouth week so to speak , all bag seed so im watching like a hawk and hoping i dont have to kill to many :/
 
You should have waited some of that looked male but could of been female got to wait till the balls are for sure balls. My biggest plant right now i thought was a male looked somewhat like that now has buds all over it. Also i know you like your foil but your plants dont go to wal mart or a sporting good store and get a "emergency" blanket then go to target or a crafts store get double sided tape i tape mine to cardboard so i can get it flat and take it in and out of my cab. MUCH MUCH better then foil my man get that shit off the pots too. And while your at the craft store or a hardware store get wire cleaners you know the wire fuzzy things then grab the top of your plant and slowly start to bend them once you got them good and bent over tie them to the side of the pot with the fuzzy wire and no more height problem check out my bitches i bot the bent in all shorts of directions they like it but some dont if you notice they look like shit in 2 or so days untie but they wont you'll see them turn face up and start to growing up again but you gained like 5 inches then when its 5 inches tall from the bend tie the tip back down wraping your way around the pot you can do this the first part of bud! GET LST'ing my man or your fucked.

right on my man ,

Foil is not good for reflectivity

BUT ,

he could turn the dull side up and put it over his soil

that way he wont have to water as much as he would if the soil was exposed to the light

he ( MIGHT ) only have to water once a week like that ;-)

Im Emphasizing the might part , lol
 
goten u got it dude i barely water them at all and also its helped get my humidity to a perfect 40. i did the tin foil on the pots because previously they needed repotting and i had nothing bigger roots were coming to the surface and getting light , i didnt want that lol
 
sj i ve got myself some garden training wire already which i been training with once the bud sites are a bit more established im gonna tie them up again.
 
just found another female thats 2 now , fingers crossed for the last 3 im thinking 1 more might be male so a turn out of 4 females is gonna be a good result i think :)

Im glad for you my man ,

ill be happy if 4 of my 6 turned out females

all 6 would be better lol
