Hi guys,

Thought I would share my about to start grow with you. All the bits I either have or are on their way in the mail.

I have ordered:

1 x Aerogarden Veggie Pro

1 x Ionic Optibloom grow and bloom

2 x Timers

8 x 30W CFL bulbs (4 x 6400k + 4 x 2700k)

4 x Sockets on plugs for CFL's

1 x LED grow light

1 x Growtent

60x60x120CM.jpg

10 x lowryder #2 (+ free seeds off attitude seeds)

1 x airpump + 10" airstone, non return valve + tubing

1 x pH test kit + adjuster

And we need to buy:

Thermometer, fan, 250w CFL (will be bought once there is enough growth to fit it in).

Anything else you guys think we should buy? Hoping for a decent yeild with the amount we have spent!

Will get pics up once everything has arrived

God, but I do love rich people. How much cash did you have to part out for all those goodies? And why all the extra lighting? You can light it up like a football stadium on Friday night but you're still limited to how many plants and how big you can grow them by the size of the Aerogrden. Have you considered ventilation? That grow room is going to get warm, humid and moldy if you don't. You're also going to get tired of that pH test kit real fast. You might want to get an electronic unit. It makes the daily pH check and adjust quicker and easier.

Far from rich. Trainee salary.

Probably around £350-400 all in. All the extra lights because it will increase yeild. And yes, ventalation has been considered. Going to put a fan with exract into the tent. Also, will be picking up a digital pH tester soon too.

Thats not too much light at all but you need to add a good PPM meter to your supplies if you are growing hydro/aero!!! Also, for the price that you paid for those lights you could have just bought a 600 Watt HID and yielded faster and probaly alot more... CFL veg wonderfully but are not quite efficient for flower as you seem to be trying to set-up a serious grow room!!

The problem I am facing is heat. The area in which i am growing (rafters in my garage with a bored across) is rather small, meaning I can only fit a 1.6m tall grow tent. Otherwise I would go straight for HID.

Also this is my first grow ever, wanted something relatively easy to do. Thinking once I have expierience move onto a bigger system.

Cheers for the tip on the PPM meter, will add that to the shopping list!

I'm up for a challenge! It's all a learning expierience really. Spent a lot of time researching so fingers crossed it pays off. If not, well I can look forward to many more grows to get better!
