it will make it!!!
I got some observations/tips
1. Im sure you have realized by now that those pots are waaayyyy too big for a 12/12 from seed. Im doing 12/12 as well and they are in 1.5gal pots and are not root bound or anything.
2. what kind o soil you got? looks like drainage or water retention may be a culprit.
3. whats your nute feed schedule and what ya feedin them ladies?
4. pH? soil and runnoff and prewatering
5. 250 HPS should do the trick but how far away is the light and what are yo temps runnin on average?
imo they will prove their name as "weed" and live their lives out. you def got a whiiiile to go.
Since those pots are sooo big... Id water/feed your babies mainly around the base of the plant where the mainstem enters the soil. the roots will grow DOWN as much as they can, and then grow out, so id think the bulk of your root mass is straight down. It may be just that the bulk of roots are not getting the nutes your prescribing...
Transplanting wont hermie them, if you are decent at it and are careful!! You COULD transplant into smaller pots but Id wait for others to chime in. As this is my first 12/12seed grow as well Im not too sure if the tap root has made it all the way down yet..

They will make it if daddy spoils them with some needed attention.. mabye a spanking or two is in order as well!!
oh and my ladies are on day 42 12/12seedflower and the buds look about the same... except mine are sativa and are damn near 3 ft tall... might be a good or bad thing... dunno.
