My experimental nyc-desiel grow

Hello and Welcome to my 2nd experimental Grow "yes
that's right it is my 2nd grow" I have combined two
systems into one. 1st system is Current cultures
undercurrent system,2nd system is General Hydroponics
waterfarm. I will be constructing the system myself 1st
I bought #2 1000watt switchable ballast one with a 8"
glass tube and the other is a 6" in/outtake hood beveled
glass I have One light attached to a Light rail
intelldrive 3.5 The other to a 2nd carrier/rail and I
attached them both with an 3/8" all thread rod (48 hour
Tested and works very well) I had 4 twin bulb T-8
laying around so I added them too.. I'm using #7
18gallon tote's as my grow buckets and res. 2 air
stones per 18gallon bucket and 3 in the res. #4 "bad
ass" air pumps pushing 15 air stones. I then Cut to fit
2 holes in the lids of the 18gallon totes to fit 6" net
pots then cut a hole in bottom of net pot to fit the
waterfarm drip ring contraption (worked out really well)
I connected the totes with 2" PVC and homemade
bulkheads. DIY link

fiberglass insulation to keep the nutrients cold covered
the lids with black plastic(very dark inside) connected
my 1/2HP nutrient watercooler and my 265gph water pump
along with a 6000BTU window AC unit. I will be using

PPM 178 starting PPM 183
nutrient temp 65 degree
room temp 77 degree
turned on the other 1000watt today and lowered the 1000watt lights to 2-1/2 foot above plants will lower more day by day untill 14" above plants (my guess 1 week).

Tomorrow will make 2 weeks in system will do a rez clean and change on sunday have to go out of town again Friday and Saturday.


any ideas how much I should set the PPM to After clean up on sunday well Monday morin because I will flush them with fresh 5.5PH water all day sunday
