So all day today we have been having really bad thunderstorms.
My pup is always kinda scared when the thunder is real loud so he usually comes and sit with me.

Well today he was outside when the thunder got real bad.
I don't exactly know how it happened but he got past my electric fence and took off somewhere. I have been looking as much as I can for him.
Its hard tho when you had 2 surgeries within the past week.

Idk what else to do. My older dog just had to be put down and now my puppy has gone missing.

Idk why im even making this thread im just sad hes gone and really hoping a neighbor saw him in the rain and picked him up.

Shit man, sorry to hear that dude. Let us know if you find him. One of mine got away once and I lost my mind knowing that she could be anywhere. I was desperate and then a neighbor called. They picked her up for me. Hopefully you'll hear from a neighbor soon.

thanks man,

Its too weird, he NEVER tries to leave. Hes always been so good about staying even when he has a chance to take off.

I am just going to hope a neighbor took him in and is waiting for it to stop raining to findout where his home is.

He can't have gone too far! Hopefully he'll either find his way back home on his own or someone'll come and drop him off.

That's terrible. I always dread something like this happening and my dogs running out into the street. Does he have tags on? Have you called local shelters to see if anything has been picked up?

I can't imagine hes gotten to an animal shelter or seen anyone from one.
I live in this little neighborhood thats inbetween 2 cities.

What scares me is if he gets out of this neighborhood its atleast 10 miles either way before the farm land ends and it becomes a city.

He does have his tags on. I really hope someone picked him up.
It just gets harder the more time passes.

I worry like hell when my dog takes off on occasion. Don't get down, he'll be back. They are smart animals.

Did you put that ad up on Craigslist? Also contact your local animal shelter with a description of your pup, let them know you're looking for him. There's a decent chance he'll be picked up by local animal control.

go around and knock on neighbors doors and/or wait till tomorrow when the storms are over and see if they bring that cute little thing back

Wonderful news!

I went out driving in the neighborhood one last time for the night and to my surprise when I got back to the house he was sitting infront of the front door!:hug:

Im so happy and so relieved. I've never seen him so filthy in my life though:shock:
