i have cups with holes on the sides towards the bottom in a tupperware resevoir. it keeps em pretty moist. i usually use them for seedlings but i think ill put clones in them now

i made a cheapo aero cloner. so far i love it! my RW clones were taking 3wks or more!
cost less than $20 to make and all the shit was at walmart.

yeah, my clones in rockwool blocks with root powder and a dome took 2-3 weeks for roots to show.
theres a tutorial on how to build this cloner in the DIY section of the growfaq. i just changed the way the cuts are suspended is all.

thay seems a little long. with the way i do it i see roots in 6to 12 days.

don't know. i have my 400wtt mh about 5" to 8" away from the dome,i have the rockwool cubes setting in just a bit of water all the time, and keep the humidity up in the dome about 80% to as high as 94%. maybe that's why. many say don't leave the cubes in water like that,but it seems to work. this time around i have some time to experiment so im trying to clone with 2 65wtt blue grow bulbs from walmart. is not getting the humidity that i like within the dome.so im just curious to see what happens.

suspending/holding them in place.... in the tutorial i think they use 1/2' tubing split down the side, i used those plastic pop-on milk tops(with the ring around the top) with a hole in the middle and a slit on the side.

vitagrow has great cloning nutes.. the anit wilt is the best thing i have ever used to keep my cuts from drying up and wilting.. i think beginning cloners would benifit with that for sure..
a small bubble stone in the cup of water will help but i dont know if thats what your going for..

i have a few i cut the same day i have'nt checked them as im sure they have not started . m trying to root thies under 2 65wtt blue grow bulbs. i ushaly use my 400wtt mh to root my clones. about a week that way.

i have a clone under 400hps thats in dirt so i cant see the roots but its starting to stand up on its own. but its a tomato plant. i heard they are simular so im experimenting to see if the root powder works
