I try to only transplant once. Once out of red cups/ starter pots, into their final 3gal pots. You don't have much space in that fridge so transplanting should probably hold off until you move your plants to your flower chamber (which can't be your small fridge; unless you have a walk-in or something). I'm curious as to what you plan to flower in; perhaps a shower??? Remember plants grow 2-3X their height once you flip to 12/12, so pick something w/ enough head room. GL man!

I transplant twice usually. solo to 2gals then to their final home in 5gal. I find that the root system is much more complex and spread out through the entire 5gal when I do it that way. I did a test solo directly to 5 gal VS the work up method I just described.

The result was wayyy more roots via work up. The roots mainly just grow straight down then along the inside of the pots, so i feel like doing baby step transplanting makes more root mass on the interior/middle of the soil.

As for the flower chamber I posted a few older pics of that space.. I plan on slowly taking a few plants out of veg, transplant to 3gal pots, then move to flower... Trying out a new tech this go around... But I will leave 4 in veg box to grow big and clone, then have only clones in the veg box and the rest inside the flower room, which by that time wont have too many plants (I hope)

Transplant when the roots start to show through the hole's you have in the bottom of the cups.

imo they are ready for a transplant now. most of them anyway. they are big enough to have good roots and would love bigger containers.

I agree I could do it now.. But I want to experiment and let them totally outgrow the solos, then transplant so the root ball is super dense...

But, that being said, one never does an experiment without a control group.. so, I shall transplant about half here in the next few days.. and continue data collection

Ok, I have a predicament..

My two flowering "ladies" went hermi, due to high heat days and a pretty large jump down in temp during nights.

I have been removing the balls of pollen everyday now..

They are on day 45 of flowering....

I notice that the balls only seem to be forming on the upper parts of the branches/colas..

SO, should I continue or just cut them down?? OR just cut the tops off branches with nanners on them an let the rest finish up?
The lower buds are far more crystally..

I have three other plants that just went into the same room and are gonna be showing sex soon. Id say they have been in there for about a week.

I really need a crop from these hermi ladies so.. RIU what shall I do?!?!?!

I guess my current options are:

1) leave be

2) Cut off tops that went hermi and continue to flower rest of lower buds

3) chop both down and hopw my yield is decent and not too terrible...

What do you all think?!???? thanks

they did not rootbound at all so the others will remain in solo cups.

Thats one cool set up man downright ingenious imo, nice plants too +rep for you
