I live in Cali and we get over 14 hours of day light since it's already late may. why did my clone start flowering?

If you just put it outside within the last few days after it had been growing inside ,the slight shock will trip the clone into flower mode, after a few long days of some good sunshine it should revert back into veg mode.
Hope this helps

The weather is perfect 75 deg weather out here in Cali. white hairs mean it's flowering right? I foliar fed them with kelp yesterday and they didn't have those white hairs.
I had those clones for almost 3 weeks.

Some of mine too. Don't worry just let them ride it out till mid June bro.
if you can give them an extra 2 hours of light, that will help swing back to veg,
but they should go back on their own around June.21st.

Don't be bummed out!! It is just a weed after all, just remember that.

As long as the clone is getting 14 hr direct sunlight like you say it is and the weather stays fairly decent it will will revert back to veg.
Next time you need to either try and match up your indoor lighting hrs to that of the outside before you put a clone outside especially if the clone was getting 24 hrs light in the beginning, or start seeds directly outside .
Let us know how it turns out and if you need anymore help just ask.
Take care out there!

thx for info man, I appreciate it. I have so much to learn so I will definitely have more questions since it's my first time growing outdoors.

So I already have a question...How was your yield affected by the early flowering?
I had the same question, the answer is yes....will your yield be bad or good is hard to say.... basically it will depend on a few things...1 strain is a big thing, some strains get bushier, some taller, some just get stunted and have huge colas instead. 2. the amount of time in flower....or the amount of time it takes to snap out of it.....3. this is just my two cents but you should throw some GROW ferts on it.....or something high in N. Mine flowered early and so I foilar fed superthrive, cal mag, and Grow (botanccare).....I dont know if i sped up the process but the came back withing a week or about 9 days and some came back on branches going everywhere and shooting to the sky. Just have patience, smoke a dooby and b4 you know it youll be harvesting.

I had those clones for almost 3 weeks.
I put some out(norcal) and they have no where close to full sun and they are vegging along nicely. But I usually wait till june 1st with clones just to be safe, and I never complain at the end of the season that there was't enough veg time.
Are you talking about flowers or pre-flowers? Outdoors will cause clones to show big noticeable pre-flowers early and it doesn't mean they are going to flower.
Just Pre-flowerView attachment 2676836 or actual flowerSativaFlowers5.JPG

If it is actually flowering then let it go back to veg naturally. It will throw single leafs during the reveg state. Once it goes back to normal, prune off all the flower site it has made already. It could seem like a lot so might take stages based on how far it got into bloom but it has to be done. You basically have to start over from the fresh veg growth once it reverts cause all the early flower stuff will be tons of leaf and crazily overgrown and come out super larfy.
Honestly if it's only a few plants and not a bunch, then it's plenty early enough(still may) and way more practical to just grab new clones and start fresh and do it right. But I'm hoping you just have big pre-flowers and will carry on just fine.

My clones look more like they are pre flowering then. They only have the white hairs at the top. So if I were to get new clones they wouldnt start to pre flower if i put them outside after june 1st??

Pre-flowers are close to the stalk. Pics or time will tell what is going on.

To answer your yield question...
I had it happen years back and that's when I learned about the light times other important flower triggers. But when mine did the reveg thing it had crazy grown and actually a huge yield. The problem was that it was so tightly packed and had tons of single leaves everywhere that in reality most was useless/tiny buds. I have helped others get through it since then and leaned that you have to wait for the normal growth pattern to start again. Well I just found this thread and they use revegging clones as a way to get that crazy growth that I have seen on purpose. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/346874-monster-cropping-increasing-yield.html . Look at the bottom of the plant pic in that thread you can see that if not pruned will produce a lot of small junk. But even after pruning all that there is still a bunch of prime heads. So it is not the end of the world...but I still wouldn't recommend dealing with it.

My phones camera doesn't take good pics so if i find my camera tomorrow I'll post some. I saw the thread good read. Do you think i should put my clones in a 7 gallon pot or are those clones not worth it anymore? Don't want to waste soil. ha

To keep em from flowering you need fifteen yo sixteen hours. I had yo put IP supplemental lighting in my greenhouse. If u don't know for sure buy a light meter bro. Just ad a light for an hour and you will be fine but do it fast before it has to completely reveg

Would I have to have it under lights till it gets back to normal or longer?
