unless the plant touches your bulbs for an extended period of time, they shouldn't burn the plant. cfls don't produce that much heat. make sure your fans are bringing in cool air. Do you have any idea of the temp and humidity in the case?

changed out the soil since it seemed the plants ate up all the nutrients and the soil was dry as hell. i snapped a pic this morning. its been roughly a week since the transplant. i wish i had more room as its pretty obvious the one in the soda bottle is growing strong (thats the newbie btw!) dunno what imma do about the others. i wish i knew sex so i could get rid of some.

move the lights...i know i know.. eventually lol

my fucking camera broke so now i cant take nice pix! :(

I am intrigued because I have 2 old computers laying around the house. Anyway good stealth grow! Have you ever thought of trying a soiless mix?

WOW things are apparently picking up on the newbie! i posted the picture above yesterday. here it is today!!!

I really gotta get those other ones out the the cups and into bigger things like the soda bottle.

______________

question...can i move them into something like this

or is it bad to have multiple plants in the same thing. (obviously its bad if one turns male and pollinates) I can only fit 3 of them in there with the small cups and less with something larger. whatever ones I pull i will plant outside and see what happens. I need to transplant the 3 cups that other one shot up when i gave it more room to grow lol. he's like 3-4 weeks younger than the others lol

it is a bad idea to keep multiple plants in the same container, but if you water them more frequently, and maybe place some dividers into the soil between each plant to seperate the roots it may work. dont worry, if you get a male, you just cut the stem.

If you just cut the stem, you risk the undesirable plants roots rotting and creating a disease issue. You are better off useing seperate containers.

sad day!~

well its been a few months since i started. i moved them into flowering about a week ago. i check this morning and find 3 males. the other one you cant really tell yet. im sure its male too since its in the same pot as the other 2. thats okay tho. im excited to start over. i have better seeds too. this time ill use nutes and get it right. it was fun! what should i do with the males? chop em? pull em? then what? plant em outside? make hash?

heres pics. if anyone thinks I am wrong plz lemme know. pretty sure i got it right tho. ball sacks = males :(

i think two of these are males, one might be female, i doubt it tho.

and the newbie - promising...but male :(

i think the one to the bottom right may be a female. who knows. doubt it since its shared its home with the other two for a long time.

and here is the revamped setup, my intake fan in the front of the case is now an exhast fan and i got a bunch of carbon paper filter things all over the airways of the box

it was fun. now its time to try the two white widow seeds my friend gave me. his plant looks GOOD

Sick setup.

I can see I am a bit late to the game, but I was hoping to get a bit of info about the case you are using.

Do you know the measurements and manufacturer? I have been on an endless hunt for a case that big.

Thanks much!
