Yea so something went terribly wrong when the plants changed from Goleta to SD. The soil that I transplanted them into was the same as what they sprouted in, but I now realize that this soil had been contaminated by the water here in SD (20/20 hindsight baby). The one plant that I was really pulling for was holding off the yellowing/discoloration for a little while, but now its turned pale all over, with yellow lower leaves and even some brownish/brick-colored spots on the leaves. I never thought Id run into a water problem (if this IS in fact a water issue), so water costs never really factored into my thinking. I know that sounds ridiculous cuz waters cheap and all, but I have a hard time getting around down here so having to go to the store for water is a pain in the ass. If anyone has any suggestions, Id be glad to hear them, but I doubt theyll make it now. (no pics right now but if you look back a few posts theres a couple photos from when the discoloration was just getting started, so imagine the same thing but exacerbated)

that's too bad murphman, sorry to hear it. i am no expert on water issues, but if you have pictures i'm sure someone in here could help you out. the first thing that comes to mind is that you have a ph issue which isn't letting your plant absorb the nutes in the soil. there are some very cheap ph test kits out there, if you just search online, they're like $3 or $4 -- i got mine for $5 at walmart (i think). so if ph is the problem, it would be a pretty easy fix. good luck to you bro.
