My Bubbleponics Re-Circulator PICS

Looks cool. From previous experiements with the recirculating DWC systems, you may want to put the circulating pump on a timer and run it sparingly. It's going to raise your water temps a bit if you run it non stop. The first time I tried it I ran it 24x7 and I had a lot of root issues because of the temps. The timer fixed the issue. Peace

Here's the girls at Day 23. Snow White. Finally got to add the Fox Farm Open Sesame. Looked cool mixing up the nutes. Can't wait to flower next week!!

I like your UFO and three way setup. tons of light. Looks like a great strain hope to see more pics

So I spun the lid around so both sides can get a variety of light. I really like what was going on in the back of the closet where I couldn't see well. The leaves are HUGE!:weed: The plants on the inlet and outlet side are growing faster than the plant in the middle. The circulation has really worked well keeping the water cool and the ph stays stable. Check out the nice Grow Big brown roots thanks to Fox Farm.

I'm flowering right now so as far as the LED's "working" I have a few weeks to put in my official stance. As far as veg goes I'll just let my plants do the talking. I only added 3 26 watt cfls to the UFO and have now switched to 3 42 watt cfls of a red spectrum. That's it. So as far as Vegetation goes, YES, the LED worked. My closet isn't even 4x4 it's more like 2x4 and I have had ZERO heat issues even with the door closed. Now as far as airstones I have two 12" airstones in each reservoir with two seperate pumps running them.

I ask because I actually overbought on the airpump and stones for the original plans of my build and was debating on exchanging them for something lesser. But I might just modify my plans to use the airstones in the bottom reservoir if you're not having any problems with it. Though it does seem counter intuitive to run air through a water pump.

I don't know that it has any positive effects on the roots of the plants themselves. But I think the extra airstone in the reservoir keeps things oxygenated and fresh. My reservoir air pump went out one night and when i woke up the reservoir seemed dingy or musty. As soon as i got a new air pump installed it improved.

The quality of my reservoir nutrient solution is much better with an airstone in it. I have the water circulating very fast. The pump valve is open all the way allowing the pump to push full force. My drain system is a syphon style and drains as fast or faster than the pump pushes new water in. I think it's important to have both reservoirs oxygenated when it's exchanging water that fast.

Hey,

I like your grow and your plants look amazing. I have recently bought LEDs and so i am new to using them. I have just switched to 12/12 and i'm really keen to see how my LEDs perform. If i understand correctly you vegged with the 90W UFO only? Being new to LEDs i am trying to get a feel for the light intensity and how the plants prefer it. Your results so far are really encouraging. I'll be watching the rest of this.

:peace:
