My bubble hydro LST grow

This is going to be great! I have been studying this art for around three years now and i have decided its about time to do my first real grow. I was going to do soil but i want some fast and major buds. :bigjoint:This is my grow journal feel free to post anything!

When i my first seed sprouted (bagseed) it was march 13th and my room was just a little box. I have come to the conclusion that more buds come from bigger spaces so i'm now going to use the whole closet. I am using 2 26 watt blue and one 42 watt 2700 CFL at the moment but plan to give it alot more during veg. The sprout is kept in soil for now and will be moved to the a bubble system for veg. The rest of my seeds are being germed and are in some rockwool.

My set up for the entire closet will be half flower half veg. I have made a carbon filter that i found from this thread https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/101248-best-diy-ez-walmart-carbon.html and have used the guidelines in this thread https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/97378-diy-3-gallon-rubbermaid-dwc.html to make a system. My system is a 16 gal so i'm pretty sure i will be able to create monsters. I have 2 18" airstones and a double pump to power them. To stick it all together i found mighty putty haha

I would post my temps and such but I don't have them yet but am working on it. I have my lights on 24 hours a day now and a humidity dome over the little dude. For reflective material i used ventilation tape haha I will be working with mylar when i use the whole closet. The little fan you see in the picture was taken out of a PlayStation 2 and i working quite well.

That's my set up ladies and gentlemen. :leaf:

I was a little worried today because i saw the temperature was at 91 and the humidity was at 1%. Anyone know a good diy way to create some humidity? As of present i am using a cup of water with a little towel hanging out of it.

Looks like that high temperature really messed with the plant plus i had been keeping the soil wet since day one so i'm sure that didn't help much. Anyway i added some extra intake, transplanted it to a bigger pot, and took out two lights. I'm more focused on making a more extravagant root system now instead of blasting it with light. Over the next day or two I will stop watering so this thing will start growing again. Well we will see what happens. My temp is down to 74 and humidity is at 40 thanks to my DIY humidifier.

Looks like the new growth is coming in nice, and the older leaves stopped turning brown. Happy Happy Happy :peace: Temps are staying around 75 and humidity is staying around 35. I have stopped watering but i may water tomorrow. We will see...

Yes I did water it with around half a cup of water in the afternoon and i went and hooked up two more lights (That makes four 26 watt bright white 1700 L CFL) as well. The second nodes came in today although i didn't get a great picture of them so that's exciting, and the new growth is looking great. Temps and humidity are still normal so lets see what happens.

Well its day 16 and the new room looks great! I went and got some b/w Polly at the hydro store and its keeping all the light in for sure. Also i upgraded my box into a closet so that may help with some space issues haha. The other plant in the pictures is citronella (ya know the candles and bug spray) it seems to be doing just fine. I picked up some nutes as well and foxfarm soil so this thing will really take off. I have the flower room built and the veg room is working great at this point. Temperature in the room is staying around 75 - 81 and the humidity is staying around 35 - 40.

The lil guy is looking good id say. Temps are staying norml and everything is looking up even though the leaves are a little droopy haha. I took a pic of the secondary growth, the main stalk, and a pic from the top. I might be keeping this one in soil and take clones from it for flower... if its female :joint:

Looking good if i do say so myself. Lil plant is looking healthy and I took 3 clones from her two days ago. Think the clones are doing good? too small? Just using 4 26 watt cfl at this point. Plant doesn't really smell besides when i took her out to water her today and i had to get my nose in there to smell her. Oh and i took a picture of where i took the clones will new growth emerge there? Also i have some new seedlings that i took some pictures of.

Second day of flower and the only problem I have is a heat issue. The temperature was at 86 this morning so i have added a longer vent and more cfm (bigger fan) the ventilation is right up close to the lights now. Hopefully this will help but we will see.

Its day four of flower for the biggest plant and still no definitive sign of sex. The veg room is looking good with a newly topped plant in the middle that now has four tops. I used Uncle Bens method to top it and I cloned the top. The other plant i have (which needs transplanted bad) i think has a-lot of indica traits what do you think? Oh one more thing, what do you think of this leaf? some sort of deficiency?

Well every day these guys are getting bigger but I still see no female signs from the big one in flower. The four topper is looking rather nice as well as the straight up indica (and its bushy as hell) that still needs transplanted. What cha think? Oh and I see roots on one of the clones :weed:
