My brother has a gf

She's reasonably decent looking, and a year older than him. I talked to her on facebook since she and my bro live in Vegas, (not living together). They just got together a few weeks ago, and I found out yesterday. Its weird for me cause thats my twin brother. And we've always been the single ones, but now he has a gf. Ive never even had a bf! My sister has a boyfriend, my twin brother has a girlfriend... but im single. Makes me feel odd, like less of an adult, like some kinda freak compared to them... Makes me feel like im sixteen again. Not a good thing. And while Im happy for both my brother and sister, its really bumming me out.

My sister is 19, and me and my brother are 18... yet they are way ahead of me. Jobs, know how to drive, relationships... the only one up I have on them is that Im gonna be the only one in college come fall

You don't know how to drive? You might want to learn. Well depending on where you live I guess it matters more so.
Don't be bummed you're gonna be in college soon. You'll have no problem hooking up then! As far as relationships go, you are young! Relationships at such a young age inevitably end with one side fucking over the other. Shit it happens through out life.

Be happy while you're single! And if you do get lucky, for god sakes make sure you have protection! Don't F-up your life with a rug rat at such a young age.

Judging by the tone of the thread, this might be a negative.

Urca, don't be in such a rush to grow up. The grass is always greener on the other side...
i dont wanna be fully grown up yet, just know how to drive, have a job, go to school, have a man... not too much to ask for right?
And no, im not getting laid, havent even been kissed in 6 weeks.

Well, learn how to drive, that'll boost your confidence and help you get a job...Once you have a job you'll feel more independant and that'll help you feel more grown up. And once you're in college, there'll be no shortage of horny guys trying to get into your pants...Might even find one who wants to stick around a while. I'm sure everything will work out just fine.

Well unfortunately you put all those together and you're pretty much grown up! Not saying you can't still act like a kid though, I acted a fool right up until my son was born and I was 24 when he was born. Lots of drugs and partying, almost right up to the day I found out I was going to be a dad.

That sucks about the not getting laid. I'll probably catch shit for this but online dating sites are good for finding poon (in your case dick). You can probably find some quick dick on myspace lol.

yes... I admit I've used myspace to get laid when I was your age.

Your going to college kid. College is a blast, you get to learn whatever you want to. Your life is your choice. No worries about the girls your 18. Life is short, but longer usually longer than 18.

I totally agree with this guy, everything will be just fine. ;)

No, you might have to reach real deep down and find the motivation inside yourself somewhere. If you're 18 and haven't started learning to drive, it might take a little more "oomph" so to speak. We'l support you. It's fun and totally rocks to me mobile. Another thing, when you have a car, it's like you're taking a little itty bitty piece or personal property anywhere you go. Like if you don't dig the situation you're in, you can always go you your car and lock the doors. It's like a bedroom/locker on wheels. No one really knows what I mean till they've had a car a couple years, but it'll get you outta some real jams, and not just because you can use it to drive wherever you wanna go. It's fun too, like a big videogame...Just no extra lives...lol

yeah please dont hurry yourself to do things other people do, take the time and enjoy learning and doing things yourself, even the stressful things. im 21 and i have a 17 going on 18 year old brother, it makes me feel so much older when i hang out with him cuz ive already done so much that he hasnt, (i moved out when i was 15). so yeah, sit back and enjoy yourself lol
