My Bonza Seed Bank Experience

Hello fellow toker and Gardner's. This is my first review and complete A to Z experience and process with a online seed bank purchase. Since its my 1st review pictures included for proving everything. I've been wanting to buy beans for a long while but been nervous to, not because of the law aspects of it, but because of being scammed from the actual seed banks. But finally did go for it. The seed bank I've chosen was "Bonza Seed Bank" and the only reason I chosen them is because at the time they were offering a 33% "Cyber Monday" discount and "Supper 7 Double up Heaven" promotion, get free seeds depending on how much you spend, it was possible to get upto 14 free seeds. So I pulled the trigger and submitted my order on (Saturday 11/28). But soon as I did I noticed that I accidentally picked a few regular seeds that I was not in the market for, so I quickly sent them a few messages in hopes that they can replace them with something I wanted. But since it was a Saturday, the day after "Black Friday" I didn't receive any kind of response/reply, so I just had to wait till Monday to hopefully fix my order before it was shipped out. On (Monday 11/30) I didn't get a response/reply to any of my previous massages so I quickly sent a new one by the online instant messaging app they have on while you're on their website, and I instantly got a reply from Davina a rep from the customer service team, she was very nice and happy to help me with my issue and quickly straighten everything out for me. Again that was on (Monday 11/30). She even mentioned that I will be needing additional information to complete my order, so I quickly sent what I thought was needed. But on (Tuesday 12/1) I received a email stating that what I sent wasn't sufficient and needed the required information to process my order (Safety thing against fraud). So again I sent what was needed and this time was successful. And on (Wednesday 12/2) my order was now updated to "Order will be dispatched" I waited a while but didn't see/find the tracking number to my order. So I emailed to ask about it and was told I will receive an email when one is generated. So waited a couple more days and still haven't gotten a tracking number. So on (Friday 12/4) I emailed them to ask when will the item be shipped and receive a tracking number, and a few hours later I received an email saying... "Your order has been despatched and your tracking number should update within 24 hours" Again that was on (Friday 12/4) but now over 24 hours later I still haven't received anything. So as of now (Sat 12/5) this is where I'm at. Will update when and if I receive the tracking number and will update till I receive it since I "should" because I paid for the guaranteed option. TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!

OK here's a quick update... Today (Monday 12/7) I received my Tracking Number. Was 1st notified about it from Bonza Seeds rep that's on here at rollitup, and then seen it posted on my order form on my Bonza seed website account.

Update #3 After checking the status of the tracking # it's showing that it is on it's way, but I also noticed that the date it was "posted" on (7/12/15) is obviously wrong:confused: , because I submitted my order on (11/28/15) so don't know how or why it's like that, but hope it's nothing to worry about. Fingers crossed!!!
Screen shot posted for reference...

Conclusion.....
Hey my fellow tokers and farmers I'm VERY happy :lol::lol: to announce/report that I received my order on Monday (12/14) I Received everything including my freebies:hump:It only took a total of 16 days to get here (US East Coast) Everything good except for the fact that half the seeds look premature they're VERY VERY small :wall: and also a bit pale:sad:, since some of the small 1's I received were for free it don't bother me much, but was mad :fire:and surprised:o to see that even the ones I paid for were also so small:cuss:(Bad quality Control I can't blame the breeders for, because it's not who I gave my money to) if I don't ever use them again the size of the seeds will be the ONLY reason why.
I added a few out thr bag pics of the ones I paid for, I'm almost sure it's money down the drain and that REALLY sucks. I'm not gonna be germinating till next month, so won't know how they'll do till then (Will update 4 sure) Besides the small seeds issue:cry:, I can honestly say that since day 1 my experience with Bonza Seeds has been nothing but positive. You get amazingly fast replies to all your questions and all the help you need. Lily and Davina are both happy to help and a true pleasure to deal with. It was my 1st and only online purchase I've done so can't compare them to anyone else, and hopefully will never need to because as of now seems like all my future purchases will hopefully continue to be with them, that of course is unless I get a bad germination rate, then I'll have to reconsider trying someone else but hopefully it will not be the case. If anyone is thinking about making a purchase I say got for it, the only thing I say that's a MUST, is that you pay the extra for STEALTH SHIPPING, It's amazing wish I could say what and how it's done, but that wouldn't be too smart, it will not only ruin it for me, but anyone else that plans on using them too. With the stealth I dont see how it can be found, the thing could be right in your face and you still won't notice it, Props to Bonza for that concept and setup is real sweet. If you do get the stealth just sit back, relax and wait, it will get there, and please don't worry about following the tracking number and worry your self for nothing because it will be at your front door before the thing updates. I don't see how ANYONE would have ANY problems, as long as you pay for the stealth, (Pay it, it's REALLY worth it), please do keep in mind that, if you don't, it's on you, so don't start complaining about it later and try to ruin a seed banks name and reputation, just cause you choose NOT to pay for the INSURANCE. Hey it's the same if you don't put insurance on a car, and later crash it... plain and simple... IT'S NOT COVERED, so why should the seed bank do it. I believe 80% of the people that has problems w/bonza, are the ones that chose to chance it and not pay insureance. So who's to blame for that?! I know there isn't any perfect seed banks, I'm sure they all make mistakes, what differs 1 from the other is that 1 tries to correct things and the others cares less. You can find a person who praises a specific seed bank, but then again you can find a few others that despises the same 1. My EXPERIENCE with Bonza Seeds is just that... My Experience. Take what you want from it. I just wanted to share it, so that it could help some make an informed decision. Besides the small seeds thing, I can honestly say Bonza is a legit Seed Bank. So if you're wondering if you should use them, I say go for it, give'em a shot!! The ONLY negative is that you too might receive premature seeds, if you do receive premature seeds, please do let us know here on my post. :weed: puff puff pass:joint:

still waiting for one
Wow.. really?! If u paid for the tracking you should have received it by now, I placed my order after you, and I received the tracking number 1 week later, have you contacted them about it? And if you paid for the insured stealth you "should" be covered if something happens so they should resend it.

Jess, the reason your item's post date read 7-12-15 is because in large parts of the world the format is dd/mm/yy rather than mm/dd/yy. So it posted on Dec. 7th. FYI my last order from midweeksong was entered on the 10th, delivered on the 15th to the central U.S. Herbies is fast too. A well-run business will have your order dispatched and info provided within 48 hours. I saw a user in another thread waited THIRTY-TWO DAYS for delivery from another bank. That's like 1970's mail order crap- send a check, wait and hope for 6-8 weeks. No reason to put up with it.

OK OK yeah that SURE makes sense now, but at the end of the day, as I said in my post, it wasn't an issue so was OK with that. And about the waiting, your absolutely right, no one should have to wait so long. My order and wait wasn't that bad, the best thing of all is that I did receive my order. Only issue is that I think BONZA seeds are B-Grade at best DEFINITELY NOT A1 Quality seeds, at least it's NOT what I received, not 1 look to be a full size seed, all between small & tiny. I just hope that a few take and not all becomes duds. How is the quality of the beans from the places you mentioned?

I completely agree with that, some of Bonza seeds are really small, and really difficult to germinate. The ones I found really bad so-far were Vision Seeds White Widow Feminized 3 / 5 popped, Ceres Seeds Northern Lights x Skunk #1 Feminized 4 / 5 popped, Flying Dutchmen Amsterdam Mist Feminized 2 / 3 popped. With the White Widow, I had to use a magnifying glass and a curved dental pick to remove the seed shell on all of the ones that slightly popped. Because of that I had to slice the end of root because the end of the roots got rotted staying longer in their shell than they should have. That tells me those seeds were very immature. They are now 15 to 20 days old and only look like they are a 5-6 days old. The Northern Lights x Skunk #1, two of them died within a day of popping when they were under a dome, I removed the other 2 from the dome because they looked sickly yellow like the other two that died, and they are slowly coming back, but after 10 days they still only have their embro leaves. It seems like they are working on there roots for now. I am thinking they will make it because for the first time today they bent way over to get at the light that I put to the right of them. The Amsterdam Mist are growing cork-screw type roots, but still none of them have exposed their embro leaves after 8 days. I think I will need to do surgery on them just like the White Widows. The Royal Queen Bubble Kush Auto Feminized, VIP Seeds Membrana Auto Feminized popped and sprang right to life, they both look wonderful. You know I really don't blame BONZA because they only act as the middle-man in the distro of the seeds we buy from them. But I do hope that they listen to their customers and make the seed breeders aware of their problematic seeds! As no one should have to struggle as much as I have just to get their seed to germinate!!!!!

Me too. I got mine in official looking packages. I ordered fruity phenos that I could easily tell what they were from experience. Everything else were freebies. I have been posting in Club 600 and also have a grow diary. Everything is looking good.I'm happy so far. :bigjoint:

I really hope I don't have to go through all that, but for anything premature it's always a higher chance of not making it, so yes seems like I will be experiencing the problem that comes with it too. And no I don't agree with you about... It's NOT Bonza Seeds fault... YES IT IS:hump:! I'm sure they're very aware of what they're doing, and totally has the option to either selling them or not, and obviously choose to sell them anyways, guess they want to be the "Marshalls and TJ Maxx" type of seed bank, and ONLY sell B Stock items. As a seed bank, yes I'm sure they do receive small and premature seeds from the breeders, but doesn't mean they have to sell or pass it off to the paying customers, well not if you're looking to be a quality and reparable seed bank. And from what they're shipping out, I really think they care less about being a quality seed bank. I can maybe understand giving out B- Stock as "Freebies" But unless they mention it before hand, it's definitely NOT acceptable if someone is paying for them. I would rather only receive 1 quality seed then 3 premature seeds. My buddy and I are about to place a new order, and as much as I would love to use Bonza, I think I'll be trying someone else, don't know who yet, but it's between Herbies, Single Seed Center or Gorilla, just highly doubt it'll be Bonza again and that sucks because besides the small seeds, I had an amazing experience with them, they're good people over there, only thing I say, they should REALLY reconsider their practice of selling B-Stock Seeds. They now have a awesome new years sale of 50% off everything in stock, but I look at that as if they are saying... "50% off of all premature seeds in stock" Sad but true! I should take advantage of it and make a small order just to prove my self right or wrong bout the B-Stock only thing:hump:! Lol This time I just might not receive them for being brutally honest:roll::-(:wall:. Lol
