This is my baby!! I have 5 other females going right now that seem to be loving life at 3 wks flowering. They all have great starts to their main colas and tons of buds up and down the plants. This is my only blueberry. ( I have another but It is special, like short bus special). I got in with some friends and we ordered several strains and mixed and matched. I have never grown a dominant indica like this and have a few questions... Do indicas have a considerably slower flower production? my other plants are so far ahead of this one. SO FAR AHEAD. It seems to be very healthy but just way behind. SHort, very small flowers, and only 4 or 5 internodes vs my other 5 plants that are somewhat taller with 8-9 internodes ( I am aware they have different genetics and this means everything). I vegged for 3 weeks before cutting the lights back, everything else is just like it should be. I water every 3-4 days and use advanced nutrients sensi bloom like I should and add a very small amount of sensi grow for the additional nutrients, i avoid using much of Part A from sensi grow bc of the nitrogen content. Am I doing all I can? I have a 400w HPS about 2.5 feet above the plants, a 150 HPS at a 45 degree angle to hit the sides of the plants ( i have an interesting method to suspend this light so i can reposition it throughout the day to hit them all evenly), and I have a few fluorescent lights around the sides of the plants hitting the lower branches. i fan in tons of air, everything seems perfect other than slow production compared to other journals I have seen w/blueberry(a very curious strain to me). Can anyone offer some advice or is everything just fine? I flushed the soil as recommended a few days ago after they hit 5 weeks in the soil. I then flushed with a nutrient solution to replenish the soil. it showed no signs of over watering.. just healthy as shit. Am i just being paranoid? any and all advice is welcome, i am very open minded and want to learn all I can. Thanks!

Your Blueberry looks healthy...They usually finish around 65 days.

You didn't veg. too long, so don't expect her to yeild alot...
I think you can afford to get her much closer to the 400w if
it is cooled...That would iimprove yeild, just dont burn her.

You said 3 weeks flower right...give her time, she will fatten up.

thanks!! I got them from dutch passion. out of 10 seeds most had genetic problems. i dropped 180 and only got this one that seems to be fine. I can't wait to rip through a joint of this... fortunately i have a few other plants that are quite a bit bigger and will yield a lot, but this BB seems to have a considerably larger resin production. the buds are completely covered already at just a few weeks flowering

Thats always nice. Its a little foreshadowing for the next few weeks. i love plants that get all resiney at first, lets you know the quality IMO.

I should take some shots of the mutant Blueberry.. it looks nasty! it is huge and I can shoot it with nutes at a pretty good strength every 4 days or so and it just keeps growing and growing. I topped it off during veg and it really will help the yield. The nugs are MASSIVE already and there are quite a few, but the leaves are all deformed and in odd patterns. Not sure how it has survived but I'll take it.

Here she is.. I guess the chemical they spray to make feminized seeds makes BB very unstable. I found out the hard way, but this one seems to have superpowers compared to the healthy one, it just isn't as pretty.

Man that's looking sweet and you will, hopefully, be well rewarded for your efforts. I've got 5 blueberries that are 38 days old today and 19 sprouts that are about to go into the NFT system. I'm growing Big Bud in the same closet and they are running away from the Blue Berry in terms of height but the Blue Berry is so dense and the stalks are so thick; I can't help but think they are going to produce huge, heavy buds just dripping with resin. The indica traits are that they grow low and slow compared to the sativa strains. I'm really looking forward to these finishing. Best of luck to you and welcome to the forum. Oh and here is a link to my Blue Berry grow journal: https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/32678-blueberries-v2-0-grow-journal.html

The buds are so Dense still even though the rest of the plant looks funny. It grew several shoots with buds where I topped it off... normally just the two shoots to the side take over but a third one generated somehow and there are three main colas jammed in and under that mess of leaves on top. so strange but I'm not complaining. I really want a good male to breed with one of the buds and see what the kids would turn out like. It has an uncanny ability to grow and grow and it is so strong.

I am starting a second round at the moment so hopefully I can weed out some males and give it a shot... i'll keep you posted and then we can talk seeds! With a dominant male do you think the genetics would straighten out though? the plant grows just fine but the leaves are so deformed! however, the leaves are thick and feel like leather and the stalk is so beefy, it seems invincible and soooo resistant to anything. The calyxes are HUGE and the buds are absolutely covered (not room for even one more trichome) with immature resin glands. It has more of a watermelon smell to it than my other BB that just smells like straight dank.

I logged on tonight to see if I could find out why one of my blueberry plants is hella ugly...thought maybe I was doing something wrong...
BUT, as soon as I seen the pics you posted of your ugly plant, I realized she looks very similar to mine. I read some where else that the ugly plants of dp bluebberry get you pretty ripped!

i just got back from being gone all week, set up some timers, and both blueberries got pretty fat and icy. I'll post some new pics tomorrow, but keep your ugly going and see how she does!
