Week 5 of my Big Bang grow. The Trichomes are really starting to develop now and the main cola has taken its shape. I expect it to get twice as fat but we will see. I had some issues with fertilizer that caused the fan leaves to curl up but they are on their way out anyway at this point. She is spending all her energy on flower formation now.
I still have it at 5.5 PH and i lowered the Ec to 1.7. Each week for the next 3 weeks I will lower the EC by .1 than I will leach roots. Week 9 will be a 1/4 strength fert. Week 10 is straight water.

BOTH PLANTS HAVE A DISTINCT FRUIT ODOR NOW BUT ITS STILL NOT OVERWHELMING WHICH IS GOOD (OR MAYBE IM SO USED TO THE SMELL THAT I CANT RECOGNIZE HOW STINKY IT IS oh no)

Here is a couple pics of the cola. I'm giving it another 7-10 days to finish I cut off alot of necrotic leaves. The trichomes are still on the clear side and I want them on the amber side. The cola is still growing denser which is sweet. she is already like a rock at the top. 9 inches of prime sensimilla MMMMMMMMM good.
I dried a smaller bud already and smoked it. I wanted to see how it was when the trichomes were still clear. It started out kind of mellow than built up to the point where I found myself staring into space and not moving a muscle. Then I began to get a little bit paranoid which happens to me quite often. I felt like I was going to bite the inside of my mouth only i wouldnt know it because MY whole head was numb. Anyway I concluded that she needs more time> Im looking for the mellow buzz that makes you calm and in a good laughing mood. which this did after two hits. but the third hit did me in.

i am in to my 7th week of flowering and there looking good was going to start flushing them at the start of the 8th week for two weeks and harvest it at the end of the 10th just a little unsure on weather thats right as it is my first crop

in the 7th week now there looking and smelling lovly there about 3 foot in hight this is my first crop and i have had no probs

I got some Big Bang going, I have kept mine really short. I figure none of them are over a foot tall. Really weird fruity smell, kind of like apples.
I've been fighting the dreaded spider mite in my garden and I find that the Big Bang with it's (sweet taste?) is getting chomped the most by them. I also planted the Big Bang in cheap soil and that might be part of the source of the bug problem.
My Big Bangs are at 8 weeks of flower. I'll try to take them to 10 weeks and see what happens with them. These were free seeds from the 'tude.

hey there im just about to start a big bang grow can you tell me how the smoke is and the yeild,im a med user and it says that big bang is great medicin ,what do you think?

It has a super sweet smell, like apples. It smells very unique. It has big floppy leaves that appear very indica dominant. Good stoney high, I thought it was a couch lock high. Enjoy.

im growing big bang to man i will upload some pics soon, im at 3 weeks flowering looking nice and about 14inchs tall, im going 100% organic, so i used iquana juice grow for veg and iquana juice bloom for flowering, i also get the nice fruty apple smell its great i can not wait to smoke it, im using a 400w hps also and i just cant wait to see my final product, i couldnt find many people growing big bang but now wow i see a bunch and yes i chose this strain because of its powerfull medicinal smoke ive heard its amzing\!
