my army is deployed

Was checking my veg room and found one of my clones has spidermites. Just deployed 1800 give or take ladybugs in my 8.5x10 veg room. I also had to disconnect the 1000w mh. Now the t5 is the only source of light. My hood in the veg room is a 4ft sun soaker and they cook themselves on the bulb. Spent over 2 hours looking at every leaf on 40 plants(all moms, seedlings and clones) and only seen 3 on one clone. Hopefully my looking over plants every day caught these bastards in time. The clone I found them on has been in there for 10 days. Just put her in soil and then seen them and threw the clone in my waste nute barrel. Glad I had another of the same strain! Wish me luck! Anybody have any input on a safe time line for eradication before I fire up the MH?? I ordered a bomb just to be safe.

Thanks. I hope my persistence of checking plants daily pays off. God damn dispensary and there mite filled clones. I usually put all clones into a clear quarantine container for a week with ladybugs but my last arrivals where clippings I had to toss into my cloner immediately. Guess whos cloner is coming out of the veg room?

Get some neem oil and spray everything, your plants, your pots, the floor, etc.....the mites hate that shit. They're natural enemies, and the stuff makes them go sterile, so they won't be able to reproduce. It'll also suffocate 'em,(many, not all) if they get sprayed directly. Good stuff to use occasinally, as preventive maintenance.

I have had my bout with neem oil. I helped a friend with a huge problem and we suffocated the plants in a dip. That shit scares me! I have some and I should make up a mix for my sprayer. I learned to never take the advice from my loacal grow shop. They steered us into a mess to say the least.

^I never messed around with dipping, but I can see where that could be a little much for 'em, especially if the neem was mixed rather rich. IDK, but the guy that got me start growing, is a guy who I trust, and he used the stuff for years, and swore by it. He had mite problems once, started using neem, and never had a problem again(about 8 years). Just use it sparingly on the plants, then hit the soil and the pots, and go from there. I've literally drenched mine before(when I was getting started.lol), and never had an issue. Read up on the stuff, it's quite interesting. I imagine some of it could be BS, but interesting, nonetheless. :)
