If i remember you are from tas is that right im in vicme to
Nope HPK by roots organics not a pgr and I know the people that do it pull 3+ a light @Evil-MoboThat's actually MKP, and it's just a nutrient double salt of potassium and phosphorus. Not a PGR, just a bloom booster. I use it in flower myself.
MKP = monopotassium phosphate, 0-52-32
The plants! They go batshit crazy! And it's bat guano and langbeinite
As i said i have done a lot of grows without the hulk with the same result. But with a 7 foot ceiling and using gavitas i can not let them get to high. And by using the hulk they will stop growing in 2or3 days and thats the only reason i used it. For the next grow i will not use it and show that there is no difference i may get a small amount of bleaching if i let them get to big that all. Anyway here the one that im pulling now and it to will go way over 12 lbs as well. Your water cooled stuff rocks. I have not seen the air handlers. I know a builder who did something for a grower east of Colo Spgs/Pueblo area where an indoor grow was getting hot. The builder created a water wall to cool things off.I'm also in Colorado.
I think one of @bryangtho's secrets- that he may not even know about, lol- is those high temperatures during the dark cycle. I firmly believe that it helps yields as well as helping protect against mold and powdery mildew by controlling nighttime RH.
I've been doing a lot of work with HVAC systems as part of my research project. Water cooled air handlers, water cooled COB LED modules and much more. We should talk!
Do you run the lights at night and go dark during the day?Yes i no that high temperatures during the dark cycle is always my best grows. And would have to agree with you and the hotter the better for me. And yes we should take
I use a dual circuit heat pump. The cold side chills water to cool and dehuey growing spaces and my home. The hot side delivers hot water to heat domestic hot water, heat my home and will also be providing nighttime heat and dehuey in the growroom.Your water cooled stuff rocks. Yes i run it that way all the timeDo you run the lights at night and go dark during the day?
The holy grail had very little to no hairs its just the strain. The big plants get 3 feeds for 1 min a day only when the lights are on. I try and aim for 15 to 20 liters of waste a week and the waste just go's strait in to the waste tub. That way you will always no how much feed your plant is getting. Out of the 60 liters a day the plants will get there will be around 2 liters of waste or there aboutAwesome grows. Does most of your bud look the same? Lots of hairs throughout the grow?
I don't grow hydro so drain to waiste your constantly dumping water and nutes on the ground? Or do the root mass sit in the nutes for a while until drained out and fresh nutes are replacing the old?
So that's what paclo does? I can see why people use it.
100% agree as per usual lolNot to knock @bryangtho 's grows, but the first thing I thought after seeing pics is "Poster Child" against paclo.
As you can see in the pics, paclobutrazol "kills" trich/terpene production. Rather than "building" all of the complex oils that we love, the plant directs production to tissue and "hair". What you end up with is a bloated, hairy, lump of grass. Really, the nose is "killed" also. Vaguely resembles bud, closer to lawn trimmings.
Again, Bryan, not trying to insult you, or your herb, but it is what it is. It might be, no, it definitely will be hard to let go of the paclo, but do it for your health, the health of patients/rec users, the health of your/our environment (you're dumping that crud somewhere), and do it for the health of your plants.
I can guarantee that you will grow the highest quality that you have in a long time if you completely eliminate paclo. Not only will the quality increase, but once you get the hang of oil/terpene production, you will see yields as good or better than the paclo runs. Once "dry", the oils provide significantly greater weight than plant material.
Another issue to tackle is the heat.
I want defending his use of it, I was just commenting on its attraction. Not to knock @bryangtho 's grows, but the first thing I thought after seeing pics is "Poster Child" against paclo.

... and this is what prompted my response.... I was just commenting on its attraction.
Really? Pics or I call bullshit. To put a number on it, and I'm pretty sure I have said this "here" before, 3-3.25 per 16sqft is fairly easy with proper oil production. Anything that induces "tissue" production is counterproductive.
How would we know if a product we are using is placo? does it say somewhere?... and this is what prompted my response.
There is not any "attraction", zero. If someone is growing shitty herb, they will get more "bloated" shitty herb, and this hinders the growers development as their ego is as inflated by the "numbers" as the herb is by paclo. If you are growing mids, your quality will suffer some, but "bulking" may counter that enough to break even (quantity VS quality). If you're growing top shelf you may have an issue with "vending" as your usual ain't seeing "the usual". If you are growing herb that makes top shelf look like "almond roca" (cat shit rolled in kitty litter), then you are going to be regretting the day you heard the word "paclo". Finally, if you're growing the flower shared by the gods, then you already know.
I swear to everyone reading this that it is possible to beat paclo yields with oil/terpene production to the extent that one would choose an ounce of "pure" to an elbow of paclo crap ("dead weight", some boat anchor shit).
