i am planning on doing a setup similar to yours in terms of a reservoir rubbermaid underneath the plant holders, but with 6-8 plants.(larger bucket) Do you recomend having that separate reservoir?

well mine has two chambers cuz its areoponics if u look at my album u can see i have a pump in the bottom spraying the roots up top . then the water drains back down ect. so the top bucket is just for roots to thrive the bottem is the rez
