I'm confident these 2 meanwell apv12-12's the fans are running on will run for a good long time. I feel like I can rely on them.

Some updates on the ladies. I decided to just to finish this last 5 weeks with the lights in there already. I'll save this DIY for the next run when I'm in a tent at a new location. This closet space is driving me fucking crazy. 3 solid walls sucks ass.

After a nice res change, I also defoliated quite a bit while training. Lower guys weren't getting shit for light.
This is BARELY into week 2 guys. I'm APALLED at the trich production already. Look at the leafs frostinessssss coming off that bud. Woooo eeeee!!! Crazy.

One more. It's funny cause I didn't realize how much that main bud had crawled up into my hood haha.

Couple of updates... if anyone's interested. On the last pic: can you tell which 6 are 3500K & which 2 are 4000K?

I like your trellis system. I'll likely have to use the 'screw as an anchor' idea for my next design. I've been threading cord through a couple holes I drilled through my pvc..it was a bit tedious, and not as taught as I'd like. These screws will solve that! Thanks.

Ya if I did it again, one thing I'd reccomend though, is not using an Individual piece for each cross. It's tedious and bows the pvc. Just start at one corner and use one Continuous long piece to do the horizontal and another for vertical.

So how heavy are the glass lenses? I'm planning to use white reflectors on a passively cooled design, to keep the weight down. I see a lot of people going with lenses though. I'll ask Jerry to throw in a lens so I can see for myself. I was wondering if lenses radiate less heat downwards than a bare cob? Thus more heat absorbed into the heatsink? That would be an advantage to lenses over reflectors, if true.

I believe CaliWorthington is on the right track, that the Lens is trapping warm air on the light emitting surface of the COB so the passive heatsink shopper wisely takes this into consideration. Vf will be lower if the COB runs hotter, and that means lower efficiency to achieve a more desirable light distribution.

And my heatsink stays cold even at full brightness.

Well holy smokes fam! My buds are more swollen then I've ever had in a personal grow. I'm grinning ear to ear. Most are of the lemon kush. Last is the Currant Kush which I'm most excited for.

I may put reflectors on there eventually. I can see how much more intensely focused the light is with them. The lux meter I have proves that.

Much more focused. The 3590 adapters are much more well made to minimize light leaks compared to the 3070's in the pic.

That reflectors are better than lenses?

Looks that way to me. But in a tent like I'm going to do, lenses may be better. But for the set up in the pic, reflectors are so perfect. Focuses each cob right ontop of each bucket. Lined up perfectly.
