my 4k perpetual dwc

So first I'll tell ya guys what I'm running with then get some pictures up a little later. First I have a 6x11 veg broke up into three different areas, early, mid and late veg. For early veg I use I 4' 8 bulb t5. Under tthat I got my clone bucket and plants in week one, two and three. Mid veg I have a 400w phantom ballast with an eye hortilux 400w in a 6" lumii hood with plants in week four, five and six. The last stage of veg I have a 1000w phantom and a 1000w eye hortilux my in a 6"blockbuster for plant weeks seven, eight and nine. In flower I'm running four 1000 w phantoms with 2 each 1000w mh and hps in 8" block busters in a sealed 8'x11' room. I'll also be running co2 from a tank and 12,000 btu ac. The two rooms will share air as well. I'm currently growing cherry pie and blue Terra and have a few seeds started of my own creation. Cherry pie x (grape stomper x og)

I've noticed slower growth the first few weeks with dwc then later weeks so I got another aero bucket for the first two weeks of veg
Here's a clone right out of my aero bucket going into the new aero with some nutrients. and three days later

Here's a couple of cherry pies with a few more weeks of veg left

And here's my first seedling that popped of my own creation. Cherry pie x (grapestomper x og) this is the first step towards pheno isolation. Much more to come.

Just a quick update.

Up first is an update on the blue Terra

Next is the cherry pie that I took out of the aero unit. I've also super cropped the two tops.

Plants in early veg under the t5s

Mid veg under a 400w Mh eye hortilux in a six" lumii powered by a phantom ballast. I have to say this is my favorite light in the garden

Late veg under a 1000w MH eye hortilux in a 6" blockbuster also powered by a phantom ballast only at 75% though

Here's a picture of a blue Terra fan leaf. Nice dark blueish green with a nice shine. Really excited to see this in flower

you can just use those 2" net pots all the way... the basket of hydroton is what slows them down.

I doubt just the neoprene collar is enough to support a nine week veg. I'm growing beasts. I'm actually thinking of going to a 10" net and adding hydro rocks to help support my massive trees. But thank you

Thank you. There was a lot of pineapple express and Moby dick in there. Some cherry pie and critical jack. The only thing I'm currently growing is cherry pie. It blows everything else out of the water that I've ever grown. I've since picked up a blue Terra from a friend that was almost as good and a huge resin producing bubba kush that I'll use strictly for making bho

that's cool if you want to use the baskets, but the 2" collars work fine... they make bigger ones anyway. just throwing that out there since you mentioned the slow transplant growth while the roots noodle around in a 1 gallon basket of rocks. I mean if you really think about it... those baskets extend initial rooting time, must top-feed while rooting (fuck this), take up water volume in your res, unnecessary expense and storage, will get on the floor... for what do you gain? I'm not sure. I have done runs in 3.5" net pots and 8" net pots with hydroton. The 8" was by far the worst, slowest growth, waiting for those bitches to hit the DWC water. This is not like soil where bigger pot = bigger plant.

I run up to 5 weeks veg and never had a problem using just collars
