My 400w LST & Mainlining Closet Perpetual Grow

Yeah I use metal hooks, and I just don't have much room to grow so I tie her down pretty good.. my idea is to get it something like this..

So I'm going to run a perpetual grow from here on out :eyesmoke:
Setup the closet so I can have the Veg. area up top and the Flowering area on bottom..
This is simply for personal smoke for the wife and I. So this White Girl is 2.5 months old.. she'll flower for 10 weeks so another 2.5 months.. which means 3oz every 5 months? Ehhh.. It'll do for now... :lol:
I do have plans to buy a 400w mh/hps light, that will cut down on veg time. I'll also have 4 plants total at that point 2vegging/2flowering So by then hopefully I'll harvest atleast 6oz every 4 months. Which will do for us.

4 13w ("60w equivalent") CFLs up top, and another 4 down here for now..

Gave her the the last training. She's going to sleep tonight!!! :leaf: :bigjoint:

Thanks I'm hoping we get atleast 2.5 ounces.. my goal is to yield as much as my 3 first plants. This is only my second grow (4th plant) so I'm still learning.

It's not gonna flower with that light on up top where you're vegging. They have to have complete darkness when the lights are out. That much light will prob keep it from flowering at all. Even with a small light leak where it's dark enough to flower will stress it out and turn it hermi. Complete darkness, nothing else. Other than that everything looks perfect, keep it up!

Yeah str8.. That day before putting them to sleep I went out and bought black felt fabric to make the bottom as lightproof as I could.. I'll take a picture of it tonight when lights go off. It does the job except that it gets pretty warm during the day in there if I leave it down, it gets up to 88 degrees. For now it's not a problem if I leave it up during the day but I'll be flying for 4 days later this month so we'll see how the girls react to it then. :neutral:

Really enjoying this thread! First one I've subscribed to. I tried LST on my previous, crappy grows, with mediocre results, but I'm eager to try again, now that I have better lighting, better ventilation, and a better strain. I'll be watching here for inspiration!

I'm so glad she's Thriving now!
We plan to keep this strain for a while. Cloning is hella easy. I'm not going to write a how to because there's plenty on here if you simply search, but we did not spend a dime on any kind of cloning gels at all. We Just simply cut off a branch and stuck it in soil. Took about 2-3 weeks for her to start growing like this.

I second that CruzinPenguin about not going back after trying lst, no more worries about head room, its better than scrog in my opinion in the term of access to plants, and plus you can move your plants around.

Any advice or constructive criticism is welcome!
I topped the clone last night before lights went off, so I'll be looking forward to watching her grow and once she recovers I'll start to LST her.. since the White Girl in flowering won't be very exciting for the next 2-3 weeks.. but by then hopefully I'll see plenty of budsites start to develop!
