My 2nd grow - great white shark + arjan's ultra haze #2

Hey all

I've just received an order of fem'd green house seeds of the two varieties in the title.
I'm so looking forward to growing both of these. They both look like such a fun and rewarding grow.

I'm thinking of starting the grow very soon which would mean around 6-7 months veg. I have a feeling that a veg for that period would create a couple of monsters which i'll be incapable of hiding from neighbors. Will this be the case? Keeping in mind the Australian sun's power :)

Also, if anyone with experience growing either of these beautiful plants has some info on nutes, soil mixture, soil ph etc which suit them, i'd appreciate some opinions.

just keep in mind that whatever the size of the plant is going into flowering, it will most likely triple or quadruple in size by the time its doen flowering.. I had a swiss cheese this year that was 2x2ft going into flowering and is now about 8 foot by about 6 feet wide..hope that helps

can't speak for the great white, but arjan's haze could be very tall (unless you prune it or bend it) and very noticeable to the eye. Scent-wise, the arjan haze will be unnoticeable until well into flowering, and even then, mild.

The haze, according to the GHS videos on their site, likes it around 5.5-5.7 ph. My arjan haze 3 wasn't a huge fan of nutrients, so I just went with nute-enriched soil, and have recently been adding 10-50-10 every so often
now that it is flowering.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I've recently seen that greenhouse arjan's UH2 video without any veg and it still grew reasonably tall with a very decent yield 8)

I think I'm just going to be starting GWS for now and and maybe look at planting arjans later. I'm going to keep a grow diary.
