Shit dude I hope you can figure out whats causing the brown leaves. I scanned through that plant ailment link sicc posted and the two issues that looked the most similar (to me, anyway) to what you've got going on were a lack of phosphorus or manganese, which I would guess may be linked to pH. Just my guess though, and I'm no expert. Good luck

Would say almost dead on for P deficiency.

I actually experienced some P deficiency in one of my thai plants, and I know for a fact that I had pH issues.

My pH was an entire point off, on my shitty test strips 4 and 6 look like the same color

Not much you can really do other than just make sure your pH is in check now and hope the plant can resume normal levels of P uptake.

You can try crazy foliar feeding or some random product but those are gambles and sometimes cause more harm than good.

Dont buy these if you want to check pH ranges for plants, see that whole orange range in the top right? yea thats pH 4-7. (the only spectrum that really matters)

i was going to say possibly undiagnosed root rot, finally made its way up the plant?? but lurk seems to have a better idea, with more actual "facts" to back it up, haha. good luck!

After looking back on my grows I have discovered 2-3 things that caused major problems.

Root rot happens sometimes, but you can easily trim off the rotted roomass and move on. Buddy of mine had a blueberry plant going downhill, we trimmed the poopy rotted roots off and she has looked like a champ ever since she recovered from the root trim.

Shit really hits the fan when you have root rot and then pH issues.

They are fixable on their own but not together. (At least from my experience)

Root rot causes your plants to be extremely droopy and saggy, when your older leaves and nodes start going limp root rot has taken over.

Almost ALL deficiencies are caused by pH problems, which create salt buildups and issues with plant nutrient uptake etc.

I really hammered my pH and shit first few grows but I got lazy and stopped monitoring it so much and it fucked me hard in the end.

Just because you are running the same strain doesn't mean every plant will react the same to envinronmental changes at the same rate.

3/4 plants might look good now and then further down the road they croak for the same reason the first one did, they didn't show the symptoms but they all had it.

Phosphorus gets locked out of Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels of 6.0-8.5. Phosphorus is absorbed best in Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels of 4.0- 5.8. (Wouldn’t recommend having a ph over 6.5 in hydro and soil less mediums.) Best range for hydro and soil less mediums is 5.0 to 6.0. Anything out of the ranges listed will contribute to a Phosphorus Deficiency.

Here is a list of things to help fix a Phosphrus Deficiency.

Chemical

Advanced nutrients Bloom (0-5-4)
Vita Bloom (0-7-5)
BC Bloom (1.1-4.4-7)
GH Flora Bloom (0-5-4)
GH Maxi Bloom (5-15-14)
GH Floranova Bloom (4-8-7)
Dyna-Gro Bloom (3-12-6)
Fox Farm Tiger Bloom (2-8-4)
Awsome Blossums

Organic

Dr. Hornby's Iguana Juice Bloom (4-3-6)
Advanced Nutrients Mother Earth Bloom (.5-1.5-2)
Fox Farm Big Bloom (.01-.3-.7)
Earth Juice Bloom (0-3-1)
Pure Blend Bloom (2.5-2-5)
Pure Blend Pro Bloom (2.5-2-5)
Buddswell (0-7-0)
Sea Island Jamaican Bat Guano (1-10-0)
Indonesian Bat Guano (0-13-0)
Rainbow Mix Bloom (1-9-2)
Earth Juice Bloom (0-3-1)
BIO BLOOM (2-6-3.5)
AGE OLD BLOOM (5-10-5)
ALASKA MORBLOOM (0-10-10)
METANATURALS ORGANIC BLOOM (1-5-5)

Any of these will cure your phosphorus deficiency. Affected leaves will not show recovery but new growth will appear normal.

Copied and pasted this, hope it helps. Sounds like your pH may be to high rather than to low (if we've identified the problem correctly). Good luck again!

Thanks SICC, LURK, SHACK, and Krack....

That website is fucking awesome and I think we have identified the issue.... def the Phos. or the manganese... I have not been diligent with PH.... (I DONT EVEN HAVE A GOOD meter)... I will get all that shit before my next grow...

any hoot...

I flushed out the rez and ran fresh water for 24hrs... now I am flushing it out and readding nutes.... lets see how it goes... not much else I can do other then try some of the foliage stuff.... all other plants seem to not be affected...... YET!!

but lets see what happens...

Thanks for all the info again... very helpful and fast as hell!!

That link is FUCKING awesome... should def be part of the AG guide.....

I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.... ALL OF U lol

so I think the deficiency has slowed down or stopped... it has NOT spread to any other parts of the plant.... those brown leaves are an eye-soar and about 95% affected.... Im trimmin those fuckers off right now....

Is that NOT recommended?? anywayz... let me know later... because Im doin it NOW!

Man I say leave 'em. Sure they probably look shitty but the parts of those leaves that are still healthy can still produce chlorophyll and that'll help with bud production. 'Course you probably already hacked 'em lol. Oh-well! Least it stopped spreading.

lol... KRAK. I hacked the SHITout of 'em already...lol lets see what happens... I Knew I shouldnt do it... Ive read it in alot of places... but shit they were ugly... THEY ARE GONE!!! lol

Thankis dude!
