My 2016 experience from Attitude seed bank that turned me off on 2 of my favorite breeders...

I was ordering from Attitude all the time prior to 2016 and they would always remove the seeds from the original breeder packs and I got used to it after a while. However, there was a really big order that I spent around $800 on TGA and DNA/RP gear and it all turned out to be crap. I was suspicious that the seeds were not legit, but I kept dismissing it and blamed myself and the breeder for poor results. However, some of the seed packs that I ordered were packs that I have had in the past and I knew what to expect. I ran JillyBean and Vortex from TGA and 2x Reserva Privada's Kandy Kush and I had such a bad exp that I trashed both breeders on here for a while and stopped buying from them. Even though I have ran ALL of these strains before, I was slow in the head and still blamed the wrong people... I was hurt when I realized that it was most likely the seed bank that failed me and not the breeders because I can't find TGA's gear anymore and I trashed his gear for about 5yrs because of Attitude screwing me over. I don't know how many people are familiar with Attitude back in the day, but they had problems getting their packages across U.S Customs. My original package caught, so they had to resend the seeds. It was the re-send package that I ended up with, but I think an employee ripped me off. It took me 5yrs to come to this conclusion and feel solid about it, but I really think that this is what happened to me. I was wanting to know if anyone had a similar exp? Thanks!!!

Im currently going through similar experience. I ordered dna lemon skunk from attitude last year but came out of breeders packs. Im running/flowering 2 lemon skunk plus 2 freebies fruity chronic juice and purple afghan kush.

They were all similar. Like they just threw in random seeds. Not quality at all. All mids

I ordered the dna and asked for breeders packs but they didn't honor my request.

I've always gotten the correct seeds from Attitude when I've ordered pick and mix seeds. I've gotten individual Karma seeds from them not long ago that were obviously 100% legit when I grew them out. I'll trust them until I personally have a bad experience. Some breeders have pretty extreme variability in quality.

@thenotsoesoteric I think you and I have both ordered from them over the last 15 years or so. I do hate the seeds in little plastic baggies with the original package snipped up and tossed in there. But I have to say my last order earlier this year was spot on. I got the THC Orangesicle and Melonsicle as well as the Female Seeds C99.

All came out as they should. DNA/Reserva have been on and off for quite some time now and I stay away from them. Used to be my go to top shelf.

I have since switched up to the fem lines from GLG with Twenty20 Mendocino and Mosca. Good stuff and I get my goods within 2 weeks of ordering with original breeder packs and extras :blsmoke:. It takes 2 weeks cause 3 or 4 days to send the $$. Then process a few days, then ship a few days. It's my go to USA bank now and I love the service but hate the freebies. Reg freebies only. Sorry @Bad Dawg :cool:

I have some Hindsight (Twenty20 freebie), Snow G and Glue Sniffer (both twenty20) going right now. I am popping 3 of each of Snowcaine and SFG fems plus 8 Double Durban regs this Friday. I may do a journal on those. All Twenty20 stuff.

The Girl Crush from them was killer and the yield was off the charts. Giant ass OG Kush like nugs. Very OG #18 like @thenotsoesoteric . I know you remember those jewels :cool:

I've heard this, but I was still running their Kandy Kush while everyone was complaining about OG#18. I think that Kandy Kush was still doing fine back then, but this one order made me stop buying from them. I'm about to order directly from the US this time and get it in breeders packs before I officially say that DNA doesn't have it anymore. I found this seed bank that is in the US and they have a DNA OG Kush promo. I think that I'm about to try them out again. I'm not so much here to bash Attitude as I am trying to figure out if I need to give DNA/RP another chance. There is still a few TGA strains floating around too that I might get around to, like Mz Jill and Badger.

Thank you!!! I feel verified now lol. Like I said earlier, it turned me off of my favorite breeders at the time. Anyways, DNA/RP/CFF can all be bought in the US now. I bought my Crockett gear 15% off and DNA is now running a promo for OG Kush freebies. I'm looking at DNA's Kandy Kush, OG#18, 1/2 pack of RKS and 5 free fem OG Kush.

I had a lot of popular stains on that order too, it was an $800 order or Reserva P and TGA. I think that I still remember exactly what was on that order lol. DNA/RP Skywalker OG, Sour Kush, & 2x Kandy Kush, TGA's Jesus OG, Jilly Bean, and 2x Vortex. I ordered 2 packs of the strains that I KNEW were good and they were bunk. I'll probably never get my favorite pheno of Vortex again, but I'm about to see if DNA still has some gas lol. I think that a good fuel/OG/Skunk strain will sell at dispensaries right now. Everyone is going cookies, gelato, and zskittles route. I want something that will stink the whole house again lol...

If you’re still looking for some TGA seeds, they can be found at geneticsupply.com.
Look in Badgers Batch (who was one of Sub’s head breeders) and in the Producer Overstock section.
Lots of TGA strains still to be had.

Crockett were the first two strains I ran and they both turned out the best I ever ran or at least within the top 5 strains I grew so far. I got them from Baystateseeds in original package. Absolute fire the Citrus Sap and Crockett confidential from Crockett. Wish GLG would carry them but I have more than enough seeds at this point.

I read your old post that led me there lol. He has Chernobyl and Cuvee and recently looks like he added Jack the Ripper, which I am very excited about! I had to make a hard decision to try Crockett Family Farms or TGA this round and I went with CFF, but JTR might be more of a personal stash and I'll def make my way to trying it out. I have a feeling that I am going to be searching a lot more seed packs in the future, I'm setting up a greenhouse and have a commercial license in Okla. I've seen another grower with Chernobyl around here...

I've seen your post on Citrus Sap and combined with IG posts, it has me considering it. Crockett has been advertising the crap out of it but that's probably because people are growing it... It's on my short list!!! Oh, I have Crockett's Haze which has Confidential in it...

Yea the pic I posted in the Crockett thread was the Crockett Confidential, but citrus sap was also really nice and much more Sativa high. I loved them both and only a few strains came close or on level with the 2. Citrus Sap was also very uniform, had just a single pheno in 5 different plants. The CC I had at least 2 phenos. The one I posted was a fast finisher around 7 weeks 12 12

The DNA "family" has put out some great individual strains, honestly some of my favorite individual plants came from them, but I've never found them to be reliable. I think they have a dozen individual growers all over the place producing their seeds which is why they lack consistency and I've also noticed the quality of the freebies I've gotten from them in the past were off. What I mean is, the actual seeds, rather than looking nice and plump and fresh, were sort of white and puny-they were still the correct strains but they were immature seeds. They have really funky quality control. Lately I've been trying to order my European seeds directly from the breeder if possible, just to ensure I get fresh stock. I'm pretty much down to just Karma, Ace, and Delicious that I still get from Europe, but soon I may just stop ordering overseas altogether, the shipping situation has become untenable.

This is why euro seedbanks suck for the most part.

Glad we no longer have to ship across the Atlantic for a 50% hit rate of getting your package and then you did not know if what has arrived was what you actually ordered.
