My 2 plants are seemingly back from the dead but I still need some help

Ok so I'm a first time grower and I very luckely have 2 plants (of seeds that came from
various bags of street weed) and they are each 75 days old and both roughly a foot tall and bushy. Thru micro sexing and cloning I found them both to be female. (Im pretty sure anyway...i just started flowering the clones to see the sex, so far so good)
Anyway my plants made a steep decline last week when I found I had been overfeeding and over-lighting. They both yellowed and withered and one even shriveled over. :( Since I realized the problem i've flushed the soil once and have given another hardy watering to flush the added nutrients from the soil and have been sparaticly misting the fan leaves. (I also cut my lighting in half...I went a little overboard with the lights) AND NO MORE MIRACLE GROW... back to water. Over the last week the plants have stretched upwards towards the lights and the fan leaves are beginning to soften and stretch (the leaves that aren't dead anyway) My question is should I clip the withered and dead leaves from the plant to give new growing points or just let them fall off? Im not out of the woods yet but i'm encouraged based upon they're turn around.

I agree. I think I root bound the plants in the cup they germinated in by not transplanting them in a timely manner which cost me some time. I also think the conditions in the room they started in was terrible. Its much better now. There in a bigger more ventilated room thats also temp regulated...and got some fans. the first two pix are of the bushier plant (this plant is doing better than the other)
I started with 4 26w met hal light/heat lamps and later added 2 flourescent my father in law gave me but i lowered the light when they got f'd up. Now they have only 2 26W hal's about 14 inches from the plants. Thanks for your help. Maybe you can save the day. Im gonna send you the other more damaged plant to follow
