grow a few so you have better chances of getting a female. So people buy fem seeds, but some people don't like em cause they are hermie seeds or some weird shit, i dunno. I'm un educated when it comes to fem seeds....

To answer your question yes, some people do switch their vegging (or seedling!) plants to 12/12 just until they show sex. Usually people who are trying to grow in large amounts will do that to weed (haha...) out the males. You can do it but it will stunt your growth once you switch it back. My suggestion if it's your first grow is to just let it do its thing until it's mature enough to flower (at least 8 weeks old, it needs to mature geneticlly, if it gets too tall try topping it) and just gain some experience with the way marijuana grows. It's interesting to see if you've never grown or seen a grow before.

1000watt magnetic/switchable. picked it up for bout $450 total .. shipping cost made me cringe, but im happy regardless.

Thanks for the comment! I have a Canon 20d. My primary lens is 24-105L and I love it. Of course, I shoot in RAW format and I do my magic in photoshop. The max reso is 3504x2332.

Great info! Unfortunately I accidentally damaged the plant. I knocked over my tripod and it fell on top of the plant... I'm so clumsy.. R.I.P. I can't wait to start a new grow. I'll possibly do something small in the mean time. I don't think I'll be following through with the box I had planned out. I don't have a truck to haul the shit, and the people I asked to borrow their truck flaked out. Plus budget is extremely tight right now. I quit my job, and I'm making good effort to move to Cali--hopefully by summer. I promise you all some good shit!
