My 1st grow room. Room for improvement. Advice and input appreciated.

going for maximum yield and trying to get some nice big fat colas. wanna see if im doing things right or wrong.
space is around 2x1.5x2.5
1 small fan keeps things around 87 most of the time.(planning to add another one)
10 cfl and 1 t5 @ around 18500 lumens all together. (should i add more light?)

future improvements i wanna do by the end of the month.
1. exhaust fan and carbon filter
2. add mylar
3 ?

Lookin good so far SD, the more light the better. How old are they and u should try to keep the lights much closer now? Have u switched yet?

there half way on week 2 of switch to 12/12. i wanna get them closer but i wanna get another fan first to keep things cool. there about 5" away right now. u think it will be ok to bring them closer now? i dont wanna burn any of them.

Got to get a "Fan" and filter.Large box fan. Blow cool air over the top so u can move lights closer.

You need that exhaust fan. 87 degrees is hot, and if possible try to get some fresh air in there any way you can. As far as things you need, some are a ph tester, ppm/ec tester, and a soil test kit would be nice. Plants look good. Peace

i got a large box fan that i tried to fit in the box but was too big. never thought of just laying it on top of the box. also theres clothes hanging above the box. hopefully it doesn't affect anything.

if u are running hot in the box rem the plants roots too (black will aborb the light and heat up the roots )....think about turning the pots whites ( or even get the silver metal duct tape and wrap up the sides)...........u should check into those airbags (makes flushing so much easier ...u can never over water in these )


u have clothes in there get some ceder chips to add it will reduce the smell protect clothing more( and this opens up the excuse i spilled something stinky ) .......and yes it will effect the clothes ( drug dogs will hit always it is funny i was pulled over once ....dog came out went nutz they spent 45 mins striping the car apart and i mean they took out the back seat emptyed the trunk spare tire out everything found nothing .......cop walks over and saids i never had a dog hit like that and us not find something u must live in the stuff ....told him it was the jacket )............u will be surprized after they rem u they stop looking and tell u to slow down/put the seat belt on .........but yah u should know this never never never carry if u have to something u can eat in one bite or throw more then 50yards(legal reason in my area 50yards can not prove was mine in court)

got the exhaust fan up. made a major difference. got the lights around 2" away now and things stay below 80 thanks fatfarmer for the idea.
