And while I'm at it and about to sign out for a while I thought I would mention some things.
1. I been giving the girls "touch-ups" around the edges with pretty much every watering as of late.
What I've been doing it just kinda clipping away at any dead tips like the barber would do you hair.
Call it a bit of an experiment but I figure it could cause a fight response in the plant, and maybe cause them to give up more resin??
Just an experiment, nothing for sure! But I don't clip much off at all, just anything dead at the tip and any leaves that have any necrotic spots get touch too.
Maybe my attemps are futile..Maybe not. Whatever
2. I been removing the fans leaves that are ready to go. I've read that you should only remove a fan leafe if they're better than 50% dead of useless, and I've come to the conclusion that when they're ready to go, pushing against them in the slightest will cause them to give away.
So anything looking suspect gets pushed up on haha!
But give my Molasses OD a couple weeks back, I lost a majority of the OG fan leaves and I'm sure my yield too a hit because of that.
But since then things have straighten up and the new growth that came has been lush.
Bringing me to the final conclusion that the plants are more selective or the nutes than we think. This in my opinion.
I say so because the OG fan leaves yellow and die with senescence, but the new growth that come in return in nice and green until they've served their purpose.
They leaves are yellowing and dying because the soil is N deficent, but rather because it's they're time. We're Just playing God.
