My 1st Grow Completed! 8 plants, 5 months, 14 ounces dry!"

Attitude has passed me on to the USA so now is the official wait! Prior orders both been 9 days

& I was recently told by some kid on here that my grow looked "sketchy" at best haha



Just wanted to add that it's looking pretty descent from my angle! Flowering time....GTFO lol

Also notice a little yellowing additional yesterday at the tips of some of the leaves, but I'm not sold that it's suggesting a def. because these are the tips closet to the lights and I've been doing what I need to, to inoculate the soil..Tho I feel I might have been a little bacterially over-bearing on the soil to this point..Maybe I'll head the other direction with the next tea.

Could be a toxicity tho, from the combination of the topdressing and AACT use.
I also don't really dilute my teas. I brew by the gallon and add smaller amounts of everything to it, then split that gallon between three plants, watering each individually afterwards.
And I've read that you can't burn plants with heavy use of EWCs, but I'm not sure of that being fact for when you use them in combination with teas..

I'm noting this now because the yellowing tips seemed to have subsided a bit just last night, and after I topdressed with EWCs..
It's kinda weird to see that honestly. This weeks addition was molasses. Last week was Hi-P Bat Guano...So the molasses is the variable that should be effecting things

And as you can see, the next gen of seedlings are coming along well in Fox Farm Ocean Forest.
I had a bit of a heated discussion with a guy about how it'll burn seedlings yadayada.
A week in a no burn yet. I WILL SAY THO, you have to water it lightly and let it sit for like a month. Some ppl pot straight into it with success, but if you cycle the soil it's guaranteed that you won't burn anything with it.

Have you considered trying to find a way to mount your CFL's with the flat broad face on your plants? You'll get much more out of them that way.

Nirvana Bubblicious Auto - Wk4 Day1. 43days from seed.

Did what was somewhat of a minor lollipoping today just to clear out some of the garbage.
Top dressed with EWCs & watered as mentioned before.
Apical stems on both the Blue Widow and the Bubblicious have been broken(accidentally) while LSTing.
Not sure I broke them or pulled them apart exactly, but I noticed it about a little less than week ago.
The stem of the Blue Widow is almost fully healed but the Bubblicious stem still has some mending to do, but it's mending nevertheless.
I also think the Bubblicious is trying to flower because it's getting kinda busy in the middle of the flower sites, but I've stunted it so much that I think I've hurt the yield somewhat. We'll see. It doesn't really smell tho..
Smell overall was a little more evident today. White Widow is more musky but kinda like a honeysuckle subtly. Blue Widow smells of sweet blue lol but kinda rubber-like too. Good tho. And the Bubblicious smells really like nothing. Only from touching to you get a smell.

That's another week for me tho!
I would say the new lights did the job in lengthening the plants out some for sure. Also thickening them up.
I'm gonna veg until I can't stand it..Let them plants heal up, and let the budsites that you guys can't really see, catch up to the canopy.
There's SERIOUSLY A TON of good flower sites on these plants. They're all over! F.I.M has done me VERY WELL I'd say.
The next gen will get the early topping!

That's what i do, On my flowering plants all bud sites have pistols now, the ones that don't get chopped.(after 30 days of flower)

Wouldn't it be better to have the hps's on top and use cfl for side lighting?

Perhaps it could be bro. Call it an experiment to see what the plants do. I rotate them obsessively(too many times a day to count), so I'm thinking this way could help.
I've untied them so that they can grow up a little, so I figure moving the lights like this well help them not to grow upwards too much. The fan also works as a excellent light mover lol.
But I feel like they're getting adequate light with this setup for now. That and the fact that I have a lot of budsites in the bush that you guys can't really see from the pics..I'm hoping to "shine some light on them" lol

What you might consider is putting your plants in a straight line with both sides being covered by the horizontal 150s then put 2 clusters of CFL's above them, and 1 cluster for your babies.

Something like:

i get 100% germination rate, the most important thing is to keep the seeds warm, if its cool it will take longer, remember cold will stunt the roots, and germinating is trying to get that root out so logically if you keep it warm it will spread faster.

I would but the the P all the way to left's gonna be gettin' shafted.
So I put them in line like so that I've got the 150's hitting both ends with the cluster centered over the top.
And the two smaller clusters are centered about mid plant to shine some light under

But believe me...Come flower time I'll pack like 30 more in somehow some way lol

Nice! I said a cool dark place because I've put my in the closet EVERYTIME! But yep you're right. Warmth would def. help things out! Sorry I missed that.

You should take particular notice of my DIY reflector hood as something like it could clean your room up and help with light loss. It's post #14 in my old grow journal. Thanks for the idea and the input bro. It's much appreciated! I checked it out and it looked DAMNED GOOD! Thing is...I don't have the resources to make that at the MO so I'll see what I can drum up with what I have. I do realize that I'm losing a good deal of light without adequate reflectors..I've given advice to people to use them and I haven't myself smh..

But I'll rig something up forsure. I got a lot of mylar and cardboard boxes around so I'll get moving

A Sheet or 2 of R-Max board and some 1/4 slats,screws and time =A great grow space.
IMO alot better then Tents.

After the harvest party, those months within will be so chill. I swear me and my girl kick out like $500 a month or so just to smoke like we do haha 3/4 spliffs a day.
And it's not that I'm being charged a lot bcuz my buddy takes care of me for the quality i get...It's just the quantity...Not doing anything in bulk...
But it's cool tho...To step away from buying and just be able to do this. I dream of the day I'm sittin' on jars...Jars of my own grown.

HID Lights went back above the plants as I F.I.M'd the Blue and White Widows again, and tied each of the big 3 back down.

It seemed like the grew upwards maybe 2 inches in the two days that I left them untied, so I felt I shouldn't wait to make my move.
Anxious to see the result of a second topping. Gonna keep a close eye on em.
I want to flower SO DAMN BAD ALREADY....But an artist never rushes to finish his masterpiece.
It's the attention to detail that makes all the difference...And that's in life in general.

You need a Bong dude tht will save you alot,of Smoke.
Ive got 5 strains cured and in jars,very nice to be able to pick a strain,For sure when you got some Sativas.

Its my own personel stash,With the indicas for the indians and the Sativa for me the Chief.When friends come by they are the indians.

And did you know that the original White Widow is actually Mr.Nice Seeds Black Widow?
I found that out yesterday too. I had White Widow and Black Widow in Holland and they were VERY DIFFERENT!
White Widow was like 7/8 euros a gram and Black Widow was like 12 euro a gram. That 4/5 euro difference was also evident in the smoke, as well as the availability.
You could find White Widow in like EVERY Coffeeshop, but Black Widow was a specialty bud whenever you saw it and ALWAYS at the top of the list of bud each shop had.
Def. a HEAVY hazelike stone from the Black Widow...It's a one hitter quitter.

Tried to order some...Attitude was out of EVERYTHING man!
Read up on that Mr. Nice Black Widow and let me know where you stand on that if you get a moment sir.
