also i can post up new pics anytime anyone wants to see, the buds are probably twice as big as they are in previous pictures by now lol

I would love to see some new pictures! I just started LST on my purple kush clones today and want to compare to your setup. Get some good shots of that bent stalk for me eh?

and to anyone who would want to see the thick crystals all over my bud and under the new growth... i have a samsung digimax s800 8 megapixle camera and i cant f&*king figure out how to zoon into something and take a crystal clear shot so if anyone has any advice.. lol

Do you still have it tied down or is it trained to stay down now? She looks thirsty! Do you know whats up with the brown spots? Lack of nutrients / water / light burn maybe?

yeah if u go thru the thread i have been trying to figure that out and my best answer after changing watering schedules and everything is that the leaves are not getting enough blue spectrum since i have mostly the huge 2700K spectrum lights and the leaves are getting a light burn. ive pretty mcuh decided to stay the same course . im about to order tiger bloom, grow big, and big bloom. also might get some of that cha chang and those expensive ones if i can find some extra cash. so hopefully i get those in time to use on this plant and see any changes.

okay so heres an update I NEED HELP!!!! i went away for the weekend.. watered on friday morning (no nutes just water, waiting for big bloom and tiger bloom in the mail) and i got back tonight and watered again (sunday night) and the leaves are slightly browning in the middle and in some spots.. nothing has changed but me being gone all weekend.. any ideas? my guess is the plant needed water this weekend but i really dont know what an underwatered plant looks like

im giong to post a bunch of pics really soon.. like whenever my camera battery is recharged

By the way THE BUDS ARE ENORMOUS at least for me b/c this is my first grow haha im just worried about the plants future health with these leaves.. please check back in like 2 hours and i will have pics.

there is browning around the edges, you might have to dl the pics and then zoom in to see it or something... but yeah its there. can anyone diagnose?

what are your temps like and what kind of nutes are you using?

its the foil,its creatin hot spots.

yea i had that thought to, take the foil off and just use white wrapping paper

u think its the foil... but the browning is on the top of the stems.. the buds underneath the top canopy of leaves are perfectly green and look healthy. but i will take your advice just in case.. if u have any other ideas please let me know and ill let yall know what she looks like later on today

if the heat isnt your problem looks like it could be a mag deficiencey, tryin adding 1/2 tspn of epsom salt to your water...are you using tap water? have you ever checked your ph?

yeah... ill try that in a day or two if this doesnt clear it up.. funny story my buddy on here has two sisters of the plant i have... his setup is cfls with one 70 watt hps he has some reflectors made from sheets of shiny foam from home depot (sort of like aluminum foil but it doesnt get wrinkled up on the outside) but they are not extremely close to the plants... anyways his plants leaves are turning almost a dark brownish purple on BOTH of his plants that are sisters. it doesnt look like a healthy purple though. they are further along in the purple transition too... dont know if its something we have both done to cause it or not but we are both looking into it and experimenting. his name is thekindestofbuds if u want to check out his pictures of that.

i have organic soil, distilled water, and way watered down earthworm castings and other random organic nuetral ph stuff

there have been no significant changes after watering with nutrients or with regular distilled water, im going to try the epsom salt thing next water

okay after the big bloom and tiger bloom was added a few days ago... i added the epsom salt in a smaller watering today and the leaves have already started to respond!!! im really excited and i think the plants health is headed back to producing some fat buds.. pics to come soon. thanks everyone for comments

the whole plant is slowly turning purple.. even the tips of the leaves on the buds going down into the buds. i thought it was a bad thing at first but now that the epsom salt is making all of the green come back i think the plant is just trying to turn purple.. much like its other two sisters did under different care. heres a few pics
