And that is when I was planning on transplanting. When the soil is completely dry. I wanted to flush them to get the PH under control then wait to transplant. These plants are experimentation only. I have feminized seeds germinating right now. I just wanted to toy around with spare seeds that I had from a bag I had. I don't even know if these are male or female yet so I am glad I am making mistakes with these so I can make changes for the plants I really want to thrive..
Yes let’s start better with your good seeds, there’s lots more mistakes to make, we all still do it.

Edit: shit, I better add that some don’t... :blsmoke:

OK I thought you meant you just transplanted them after seeing the larvae. You really should do it now in order to help them dry out and get rid of the contaminated soil.

I used bag seed to practice on for my first grow too. J232 is right. Most people aren’t a perfect grower even if not their first grow.

I have an 8×8 foot grow room and I wanted to keep them growing in there especially if I want to keep the bugs out. But I do have an outdoor greenhouse just in case they out grow the room. I have 10 plants total so I may have to move a couple of them outdoors. I am trying to keep it as organic as I can get. They are starting to out grow the solo cups so I am going to transplant them today. I was hoping they'd show their sex before I wasted soil on possible males but I have no choice but to transplant them.

Hell yeah man. I am sure I will make many more mistakes I am just hoping they aren't mistakes that will kill them off lol. My feminized seedlings are looking alot better than the other ones did at the same stage. They are a little over a week old.

id repot them into bigger 5 gallon buckets. use whatever soil you think is good i used miracle grow moisture control and it worked for me id probably use again too. make sure you drill holes, or get a big bag of soil cut a hole in the bag and set your plant in it stick it out side

I really appreciate your help. I went ahead and did what you suggested. The reason why I have foil around the cups is because I used clear solo cups. I was trying to keep light from hitting the roots but yet it gives me a chance to see exactly how the roots are doing down there. I have a water softener connected to my tap and it tested out to be over 7.5 PH. I am thinking PH was the main issue. I flushed it on Saturday and the new growth is looking much healthier. The leaf growth slowed down a bit but I am noticing the stalks are getting much stronger and wider. I have a pond in my yard and was wondering if it'd be better to use that instead of the tap because the PH is dead on and probably has more natural nutrients in it. What would you do? Thanks again for all of your help. It is really hard determining what to do by myself especially since I am a novice hahaha.
[/QUOTE Just reading thru the threads, i need advice on transplanting my 2 week old girls they stretched alot cuz my t5 light took a dump had to use amazon special! i need to find out how far i can bury the stem guess i can start new thread. also you can put your clear solo's inside red, blue solo just have drain holes of course then just lift it out to check roots! wish i would have known that 2 weeks ago lol! ✌

Yeah, they have to get a lot bigger than that and start the flowering light cycle before they will show sex.

Ok so it has been about 6 days since I transplanted these babies and I got home and seen the plant's leaves are discolored and clawing up severely. Is this from heat stress or complications brought on by the transplant. I went to work for a few hours and noticed this when I got home. They didn't look like this 5 hours earlier. My grow room got up to around 88 degrees. Are they a lost cause or is there still hope? The stem is nice and sturdy and it is still growing taller day by day. Any thoughts?
